Hi Dan Welcome to the forum. When comes to modifying magazines, it is best to modify the magazine catch rather than the magazine itself. Magazine are becoming harder to fine and are costing more to buy. It cost less for a magazine catch that a magazine. The mod is easy and can be found on this forum. It you can try this rather than modifying any more magazines. Just my 2 cents. Your idea I have not heard of rounding the magazine. Marcus
