hay dan where are photos ??? been waiting for years

anybody ever hear of a royal typewriter bar.if so what kind of receiver did they use cast iron -or cast steel or billet . i have never heard of one a friend swears they did.

i have a rookie question. i have seen pictures of thompsons some have what looks like little pins for fire selections others have what looks more like knurled tabs for safety and fire what is the reason for this . thank you
