  2. sorry, i really do not understand. you have bought something that is no good, does not work, is no good. Do you think that the army accept that their mags don't work? Send it back at THEIR expense. i cannot understand all this about send it here etc to see if he can fix it....
  3. i don't have any drums, but i can't help feeling you are ALL missing something here...if you have bought something that doesn't work, why the hell don't you send it back to the supplier / manufacturer at THEIR expense, tell them to make make it work AT THEIR EXPENSE, and send it back to you AT THEIR EXPENSE???
  4. Guess where i am going on holiday next week? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif
  5. don't know if you can get them sent from UK to US or not, but i got 5x 30rnd sent to Spain ok. Not new, but well greased, 3 were blued, 2 painted. Basically good but with the odd little mark or rust spot. Nothing serious. http://www.cobbatoncombat.co.uk/sales/deac.htm
  6. its not green, its a good black paint, not a hint of green, at least i presume its paint. Certainly not blued, but it wasn't really very obvious til i cleaned off the heavy grease. Seems the paint is very solvent resistant too, since i tried acetone, trike and white spirit to remove the grease. one is a bit deteriorated, the paint only, so i might try to strip that and try a bit of DIY blueing.
  7. i just bought 5 30 rnd mags from http://www.cobbatoncombat.co.uk/sales/deac.htm They are in good but used condition, all stamped the same The Seymour Products Co, Seymour, Conn. but 3 are blued and 2 are finished with what appears to be some kind of paint, but its well done, not like a quick spray after assembly. Is this normal? They are otherwise in good but used condition. This was also my first encounter with what i presume to be cosmoline ...yuk!! And no they don't have any drums, i asked, but i'm on the trail of some drums in Normandy :-)
  8. every time they kill one of us, round up 100 of them, dip the bullets in pigs blood and let the MURDERING BASTARDS have it, and EVERY TIME UNTIL THEY UNCONDITIONALLY SURRENDER!!! MEN WOMEN AND CHILDREN, JUST LIKE THE WORLD TRADE CENTER! DON'T EVER FORGET THAT!!!
  9. Anyone know where i could get a new wooden pistol grip and vertical foregrip for a 28A1 in Europe? I got the buttstock from Germany, but i guess the hastle of trying to get gun parts from USA to Europe is too much trouble, cost and waiting time. Any help would be appreciated.
