  1. Very Nice!! Made one just like it. Great conversation piece at the range...
  2. Armslist has one for sale (not mine!!) Public backlash is what limited the production.....hm. Title: THOMPSON 1927A1 BONNIE & CLYDE .45 16.5 50 DR
  3. You would figure by now they (KAHR) would figure things like this out!! But still same ole crap>>
  4. I just bought a 10.5 from IMA and I also have have Green Mtn 14.5 barrel. They both spun on my West Hurley Receiver with no problems. However, the IMA barrel lacked a good blueing IMHO. My Green Mtn barrel came to me in the white and had it blued, it then matched the receiver almost perfectly. And the other negative I have with the IMA is the barrel lans weren't cut deep at all. Pretty shallow if you ask me. But they say they are Military spec....
  5. Very nice! I'm heading this rout soon. I also will have some parts for sale soon. Things like 14.5 Green Mt. Barrel and a complete stock set by by Dan Block (Fancy walnut)
  6. Extremely rare original boxes of Remington/UMC "Dogbone" .45ACP. Original boxes and ammo in very good condition, no tears or breaks in the box as shown. These are Grade 1 boxes of ammo for collectors. Hard to find in this condition http://www.ows-ammo.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=130&products_id=1236 Just passing this along. :woot:
  7. Funny I just took my old barrel off last night. A few practice runs with a pipe wrench and some leather worked for taking it off. Loctite was on the threads. However putting it back on will be a different story. I don't want to damage the barrel. So I will also farm it out. The barrel I will be putting on is a Green Mountain barrel 14.125 . I got them last week when they had a great sale. I wish I can buy a Doug Richardson barrel wrench and reciever jig.
  8. As I remember years ago Doug chimed in on what happened to the frames he once made. He said the ATF had a real shit fit about the frame because it was way to easy to convert to FA. So he had to destroy them. He did it by reverse enginering the SA frame that was unique to the SA design that the ATF approved of many years ago. So the basicly don't mess with a unique approved design by the ATF. What ever happened to the Polston Design. Is it still out and about or is it dead as a door nail.
  9. This is a real one . Kinda rough around the edges. Done in a quick fashion. This one is not mine! Nor do I own one. The one that Frank is pointing out needs alot of work done to them. I think they where ok to buy at one time because they are not "drop in" and go parts. 80% complete comes to mind. Finish the rest of it and your in alot of shit........
