  1. Finally, I have the outer covering material back in stock for the Police and FBI cases. I’ll start working on back orders as soon as possible. If you’re waiting on one feel free to contact me for updates. Greg Fox
  2. With David’s permission; If anyone is interested in a drum case I have 2 currently listed on Sturmgewehr, a 6 drum L case (SOLD) and a 5 drum C case (SPF). Also have two 6 drum C cases not listed. These will probably be the last of the C drum cases. Greg Fox 1921A
  3. I have a disappointing update to this post. The leather covering material used on the FBI and Police model cases is still stalled in New Jersey for embossing. I spoke to them Tuesday and was told it might be ready to ship this week. Consequently, orders for Police or FBI cases will be further delayed. Orders for Indiana cases and drum cases are not affected. Greg Fox
  4. Good morning all: Update: We’ve finally secured a new source for the correct leather material used on the original Police cases. It’s being finished this week and should ship the week of 4/6/25. There have also been questions about availability of the large end bolts found on some original Police cases. My stock of N.O.S. Eagle bolts ran out about 2 years ago. Since then, we were able to find a few used ones from old trunks and cases and have them reconditioned. These were offered as options with price based on costs to repair and re-nickel them. This week I found and purchased a small quantity of N.O.S. Brass Excelsior and a few Eagle “locking” bolts. These will not require repair but will need to be nickel plated. They will be offered as an option on the Police case. Locking bolts are the same size and shape as the standard bolt. Pictures below show the bolts for comparison. 5. Thanks for the suggestion. I have Tolex but it just doesn’t look correct on the Thompson cases. 1921A
  6. Good morning. We have been asked if we can still make Police and FBI style cases for the Thompson. We can make them but the sources for leather handles and prewar style leather covering material disappeared a couple of years ago and our supply is exhausted. We have been working with potential new suppliers but progress has been much slower than expected. There is some good news. We recently found and acquired a small quantity of vintage prewar Presto and Eagle hardware as used on original Police and FBI cases. There is also enough hardware and leather covering material to make Indiana style cases and drum cases for now. If you have a Police or FBI case on order we appreciate your patience and we will finish those as soon as leather is available. Greg Fox
  7. Update: L drum Carriers; The 6 drum carrier pictured is sold. The 5 drum carrier is still available. I have 1 more 6 drum and 2 more 5 drum cases available from this run. New: C drum carriers; We have a 5 drum version in production now. They should be ready by mid July. C drum carrier (5 drum prototype)
  8. Mrktbeat : Can you try again - I don’t see a PM from you. Thanks, Greg Fox
  9. I’ve had some inquires about the status of the FBI style 1907 cases. Production has been delayed for material. I ran out of the leather last summer. When we tried to reorder we learned the company was no longer in business. Recently, we found a potential new source but it will take some time to get samples and then place an order. Greg Fox
  10. With David’s permission: 3/16/24 Both L drum cases are sold. I have two L Drum cases available for sale, they are ready for the velvet liners so you can pick from, Royal Blue, Royal Purple, Hunter Green or Fire Red. Both cases have Hair Cell bonded leather outer covering and original Eagle hardware. The 6 drum carrier has leather corner protectors and all black rivets. The 5 drum carrier has metal corner protectors and nickel plated rivets. “Price Correction” My apologies, below are the correct prices for the L Drum carriers. The other price was for the new 5 drum C drum carriers. I did a quick cut and paste and didn’t proof read it. Thanks to a fellow member who called me. Price per case is $649 for the 5 drum and $695 for the 6 drum plus Shipping. Continental U.S. only. Greg Fox
