  1. Jake, welcome to the forum. When you can post photos if you have any and we can help you identifying what you have. There are gents here who have literally written the books. You've come to the right place to get the best info on Thompsons. Best, Steve
  2. Good to see you back on the forum Darryl. Welcome back. Best, Steve
  3. Jim, thank you! Its been a long time. I'm having to do some work on it. Was owned by a movie prop company. It has seen some hard use. but should make a great shooter! Will post pictures later on once I have had a chance to "fix" some things. Here are a few of the ones they sent me, when I purchased it. Thanks, Steve
  4. Approved on the 18th. Picked it up today on the 19th. Trying to type too fast, regrets.
  5. Not sure if this is becoming more common or just a fluke. I just had an E-File Form Four on a Winchester 1918 BAR in a little less than 24 hours. Submitted on the 17th and approved on the 19th! Never had that happen before! Sandman1957
  6. They are west hurleys and were drilled and tapped to fire blanks. They were recently sold by a Company in New York. I think they purchased about 30 or so miscellaneous guns including 5 West Hurleys.
  7. Has anyone ever seen a wooden covered PPSH41 Stick Magazine before? It has wood that matches the Russian Rifle and PPSHs of the day. The two screws and hex nut holding on the two wooden "grips" for lack of a better term look out of place. Does anyone have another like this? Does anyone have photos from WW11 Showing this? Thanks in advance,Sandman1957
  8. Gents, I am looking at purchasing a 1918 BAR in its original configuration and it is currently on a Form 2. Looks like it was imported by a company in March of 1952. It is being put up for sale, and the custodian has efile status. Since I am not a dealer only have a FFL-03 curio and relics license, can this firearms be transferred on a Form 4 to me. The BAR and I are in different states. I have heard that Form 2s are only dealer samples? Anyone have more info on this? Thanks in advance Sandman1957
  9. I have an EFile account and have successfully used it For SBR builds. Has selling your already owned NFA machineguns, been approved by individuals, or is still just dealers with efile accounts? Thanks in advance, Sandman19567
  10. Not trying to discourage you at all, but I would recommend asking PK and Deerslayer \ Dan Block about how they ensure that the metal does not over heat. Good luck.
