  1. The one I had was done by M60 Joe. Looks like I’ll be doing some design work on a suppressed front end (in my spare time)
  2. I forgot about the super short barrel units that M60 Joe made....and I even had one back in the day too!! I will play around with some different ideas on this project but I do think that a ported system is the way to go.
  3. Took it out and tested the concept today and I can say that while it works, it’s not a good idea to do on a model A due to the back pressure increase is hard on the back of the receiver as the bolt can and will bottom out against the “buffer” portion of the tail cap. I tried a heavier/longer spring and had no difference in the bolt travel so it is something that will be tabled for awhile and possibly indefinitely.
  4. Finally got my donor barrel in (ordered it two weeks ago) I took a 16” Indy Ord barrel, cut it down, crowned it, threaded it, and installed a SiCo 3 lug adapter. I set it as close as I could to the shroud so there wouldn’t be a big gap, but just enough to install said suppressor onto it. I’ll be trying this out tomorrow…I must admit I am giddy like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning….
  5. Oh yeah….i almost forgot to add….the fact that people will think it’ll take effect right now and be pissed when they realize it won’t go into effect for awhile yet.
  6. With all the back and forth plus disinformation/propaganda it was nearly impossible to keep track of the big #^%# bill and it’s riders that had nothing to do with it’s main intent. MSRP on suppressors will all be going up $150-$200 now….if someone was willing to pay that same amount before, they will now except it’s going to the manufacturer….
  7. So does that also mean anyone will be selling suppressors or just class 3 dealers? Where did you find that information?
  8. I like it!! I built my semi recently and it’s not a full auto but it’s still fun to shoot. I’m waiting for Indy Ord to put out more tubes with templates so I can do a few more of them as I machined my tube from scratch with no template, just dimensions I scraped together.
  9. And their will be another backlog on Form 4’s due to the increased buyer pool as well as nothing in inventory for months….itll be interesting to say the least. Just hope this “win” doesn’t turn around and bite us in the ass like so many things do when political idiots “help us”
  10. The odds of “wearing out” a barrel at 3,000 rds a year isn’t an issue. Most barrel issues anymore come from squibs/bulges or damage caused by someone doing something stupid (dropping it or whatnot) Thompson barrel could last up to 50k-75k+ rounds or more. Im shooting my Savage M1A1 that has the original barrel in it that was converted to be a blank firing (threaded the bore at the muzzle) and it still shoots amazing.
  11. Did a good job of catching the ejector with that cut. Must have been a “form 10” gun situation. Sad some guns have to die so others may live. Be interesting to see the final result.
  12. They seem to go for $150-$200 these days. Seems like it wasn’t that long ago they were $100-$125 a pop
  13. With the proper tools. You don’t want to try and improvise it or bad things can happen.
  14. I was gonna get hold of Larry this coming week and ask what the origins of his was.
  15. Well least we know they do exist. That was my main curiosity for starters
  16. I remember picking up several copies at the last Knob Creek shoot. I still have them in my office
  17. Are there, or does anyone know of, any transferable Port Said registered receiver guns? Not looking for info on tube guns, but real Port Said guns that were imported to the US. Came up in conversation the other day and I wasn’t sure.
  18. Holy crap!! Guess I’m gonna have to decide how much I wanna keep vs how much I want to flip.
  19. So what is the going rate for M39/B 9mm AP ammo these days?
  20. I took a spare Port Said shroud and welded a pic rail section on then put an Aimpoint T1 with a low pro throw lever mount on it. Works like a champ!
  21. I used my Swedish K Model A at the Ohio SubGun match today in the Open Bolt Iron and Open Bolt Optic classes. I ended up winning both classes with it. Sure is hard to beat a K for this sort of thing-super fast reloads, smooth operation, and superb accuracy.
  22. I just bought 12 of those “blocks” today plus a few other little goodies.
  23. Some red states do weird stuff too. They are all equally worthless in their own ways.
