Hello all, wanted to post a few pics I took of this military 28' I had seen at the "WWII American Experience" museum in Gettysburg, PA. About a week ago. The only description on the little sign was (Thompson M1928A1 Submachine Gun .45) and had a dummy receiver that just said "Thompson Machine Gun Model 1928" as far as I could tell. Trigger frame had FULL AUTO on 2 lines and was clearly WWII. I will post in the Firearm Museum Forum with a lot of pics and descriptions of stuff in that museum, was great with so many vehicles, tanks, jeeps, more guns and a lot of other stuff, soon!

I'm a real fan of a form with the stamp stuck on it. I never wanted to efile for that reason. But im sure in the future that will be the only option. And it is much faster. Stampcollector

I will say a Big "Thank You" to all the people mentioned above also! Was a great show & shoot again and I enjoyed it all. I picked up some items to further my collection. Great seeing everyone again. look forward to next year!

I've seen some for sale with all the hardware in beautiful condition. The hardware alone is getting hard to find! So, a plus sold with it!

I saw one sell for $300.00 or $310.00 on an auction site a month or two ago. I was surprised; EBAY still has them for sale still.

I have #392 and #394 that I purchased about 6 months ago or so.

I've had mine for several years, works great!

I want to get a can of "Renaissance Wax". I have never used it before. Question? Is it only used on bluing on the Thompson, or any weapon, or do you apply it on all metal parts except the furniture? Thanks in advance! Mike (Stampcollector)

Its probably not, but! Looks like 50 round box of .45acp. Maybe empty box for some reason. But they had 20 round boxes for G.I. right.

Wow! I oil my 28 but not so wet it slings oil all over the place. Maybe use a little less oil. That's just what I do, so just my opinion!
