I've been following that series, in the second season. I've recorded it and I haven't caught up yet. Look forward to that episode. Thanks for the heads up! Great series! -
I want to get a can of "Renaissance Wax". I have never used it before. Question? Is it only used on bluing on the Thompson, or any weapon, or do you apply it on all metal parts except the furniture? Thanks in advance! Mike (Stampcollector)

Its probably not, but! Looks like 50 round box of .45acp. Maybe empty box for some reason. But they had 20 round boxes for G.I. right.

Thompson 28 Bolt issue
Stampcollector replied to Moose1's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
Oh hey, Chappy. I just buy brass case ammo. I know a lot of shooters today that shoot steel case and have no problem. I'm not telling anyone not to shot it, it's only a personal choice for me. I save the brass too. -

I haven't bought or shot steel case ammo in anything for probably 25 to 30 years. Was advised by a gun shop owner years ago when I was buying Kimbers and Colt handguns. He said to me "I don't understand why people buy high dollar pistols and shoot the cheapest ammo they can fine through them" Stampcollector -

Anybody else at SAR Show?
Stampcollector replied to brazos609's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
I'm in Phoenix visiting my brother and family. Like Colt Chopper said, it has a lot of class lll items, has one building nothing but NFA. The rest of the show is massive with a lot of old and new firearms and asesseries. Definitely try to make this show if you can! -

Atf redefining who is a dealer

I asked a ATF agent how many guns you sell a year that would constitute having to have a FFL license. He said there is no number/amount of firearms per year, it all has to do with are you making a living doing it! (And I'm not) I ask because I have been collecting firearms all my life and selling when I get tired of one and sell it. But have never made a living doing it. I just wanted to add this comment for sake of "The Law"
