  1. Good pics! I'd like to see the face side of the butt plate, what shape it's in. (front side)
  2. I bought a new semi M1 SBR from KAHR in 2010 and could barely cock it, damn! Did feel unsafe because of the pull it took to cock. Weapon shot just fine. Got easy spring kit from Dear slayer here on the board and Wow! What a difference it made. It felt like a normal Weapon after that. Functions just fine and doesn't seem to be harder on the weapon. It was an easy fix. And inexpensive! Though would add my experience on this. Take care everyone
  3. rpbcps, Love the post cards. I was born in Petersburg, VA I grew up about 5 miles from Fort LEE. Thanks for posting them.
  4. Doug Quaid, hey I know I talked out of my butt! lol. But I thought I did see a WH go for $25,000, because I seen it on my watched list, not there now. I think it was about a month or so ago. I know your right, way to much $$! all West Hurley's have to be judged individually. Some have a lot of upgrades. And some still have factory grip hanger that is a M1 on a 1928 model. Purple parts not WW2 parts.
  5. I seen a WH sell on gun broker a couple of weeks ago for $25,000.00 Prices are going up on all TSMG's across the board. Time moves on, it's 2023 now!
  6. Bought my (low serial # 42●A) Thompson WH 1928 about 10 years ago and it's run without a hitch except for the time I put (by mistake) reduced power semi-wad cutter .45acp in it. It came with all WW2 parts except the receiver, barrel and compensator. It had correct Lyman rear sight. I have since had Bob @ Philadelphia Ordnance replace the barrel with Savage WW2 barrel and pinned the compensator. Love it! have no regrets ?
  7. I'll be there Saturday and maybe Sunday to. Will be the 4th time I've been. Best show I've ever been to. Does anyone know of a show that any bigger still going on now?

  20. I'll be there, one of the best shows in the country in my opinion. My brother lives 7 miles from it so always great to fly in and visit his family and hit the show! Hope to see fellow members there. I'm thinking of wearing my "All Thompson show and Shoot name badge" so guys can see it and say hello. Also get to enjoy some AZ weather for a week.
