  1. Does anyone have a Pre 1986 Bushmaster XM15E2 Transferable? I ran across a registered lower receiver, but I have some questions. It is a no prefix serial number in the 05XXX range. Thanks in advance. Dan
  2. That one is only 7 digits off of my serial number. Will be interesting to see where it ends up.
  3. A grip set would be fine, but I only need the right one. Anyone have them at a reasonable price?
  4. Savage 1928A1 Parts Kit British Lend Lease including barrel and bolt - Class 3 Parts & Accessories at GunBroker.com : 1047663285
  5. May very well be an original barrel based upon the direction of the P. Replacement barrels that I have seen have the P readable from the muzzle end, not the receiver.
  6. Any issue with the fact that this gun doesn't have a compensator?
  7. Would (or could) a horizontal fore grip be correct for a Colt Navy 1928 overstamp?
  8. Mongo and Rekraps, What is the finish on you Ks? I have an original m/45 that needs to be refinished. I know the green paint is not correct, but I don't know what is. Are either of your guns originals or are they tube guns? Dan
  9. The owner is possessing on a Form 5 already. What I am hearing is to have him prepare a Form 1 to reactivate and find a gunsmith who can do the work when the Form 1 is approved. Is this the consensus?
  10. Got Uzi, Why can't an eForm 1 be filed? I just went on eForms and the form came up and populated with my information. Dan
  11. I have a customer who has a registered DEWAT M1 Thompson that would like to reactivate it. Who is doing this sort of work these days? The gun is currently on a Form 5. Should he prepare and submit a Form 1 now? How does he handle that if a gunsmith will be doing the barrel swap? Thank you Dan
  12. I find it interesting that it is a 190k serial number but has not had the British magazine catch bar protector. Most, if not all of the M3s that I have seen in the 180k and 190k range have been Lend Lease guns. And yes, I saw the British proof stamp but that doesn't make it a lend lease. Only that it went through Britian at some point in its life. Dan
  13. I haven't done a FOIA on mine, but it came out of the Corpus Christi PD along with several others. Prior to that they were owned by the Texas State Guard during WWII. Some of the guns that came out of the CCPD were marked with silver plaques that stated what civic assn or rotary club they were donated by to the state guard. Dan
