  1. Thanks Jon, I can see the WW2 grip looks alot better. More decisions for me . Great job! Bob
  2. I've been thinking about getting the green mtn. barrel for my AO commando, but would like to use my original AO horiz. forearm. Exactly why does it look bad? I would have to buy an original ww2 horiz forearm? Thanks.
  3. they have one on gunbroker now for $87 plus $5 shipping. is that what they go for? I'd be worried the threads wouldn't match. someone said they just welded the non threaded auto ordnance compensator on the threaded green mountain barrel. I wonder what kind of fit that was? but that would cost about $77 with shipping from AO, so the $87 for the real one doesn't sound that bad now.
  4. now where to get the threaded cutts compensator? For the green mountain barrel.
  5. Can you put the engraving anywhere, like on bottom of trigger guard or somewhere else so that it is not so obvious?
  6. Thanks, 06AngusSG, the 3 sounds good. You did a great job on your project too!
  7. How did anyone weld on the cutts compensator to the 14.5" green mountain barrel without damaging the barrel? How did you re-blue the barrel? cold or hot? what brand?
  8. How did anyone with the Green Mountain 14.5" chrome moly steel barrel who welded on the Cutts compensator re-blue it? I'm cheap and don't want to take it to a gunsmith (but I might), I'm a do-it-yourselfer. I have the blued Auto Ordnance 1927A1 T1. Where and what kind (cold or hot) and brand of blueing? Where'd you purchase it? And as far as welding on of the Cutts compensator, how do you weld it to the barrel without buldging it or damaging it? Thanks.
