  1. Don’t discount buying from an individual. I did and could not be more pleased with the transaction. It will likely save you a bundle, and the paperwork is easy to complete and submit.
  2. I looked for mine for almost two years. Be patient and educate yourself. It will be worth the wait and effort.
  3. Congrats and welcome to the family!
  4. Gordon’s book implies some misrepresentation when it was sold back in 1976. It was originally sold to the Rhode Island PD. it has changed hands numerous times over the years.
  5. Should be a nice piece. It was originally owned by the Marion County Ohio Sheriffs Office, then went to a broker in 1975, then to the Dell Free collection. All according to Gordon's wonderful book! The gloss on the wood concerns me, but it could just be the lighting...
  6. Thanks TD, just ordered one. Can’t wait to read it!
  7. Looks like you are using reloads. Make sure the primers are fully seated. High primers will do exactly what you are experiencing.
  8. Doubt they would hit anything if they tried, judging from their body posture.
  9. Less Yugo’s were produced than ‘63 split-window Corvettes…
  10. Wow! I had a hard time selling a Colt ‘21AC for that amount a few years ago.
  11. That’s a lot of “honest wear”. Has the butt stock been refinished? It’s not close to matching the VFG or rear grip…
  12. Thanks for posting this. I don’t think our community realizes how hard scammers are going after us. I got scammed on a shotgun deal last year, via a Trap Shooting forum. Once I realized I had been taken, It was apparent that all the signs were there. I was too caught up in the deal to recognize them. I have since stopped scammers by asking them for a phone number so I can talk with them This is a no-go for them. They most likely speak poor English, and can’t answer random questions on the fly. They get angry and accuse me of not trusting them. That’s when the fun begins. I usually waste half an hour baiting them along until I have to move on. Sad what the world is becoming.
  13. They even ruined the knurling on the actuator knob. How the heck do you do that? That whole gun is a train-wreck.
