Buy low and sell high, been in this long enough to know it always hits a ceiling and crashes. There are still more MG's in circulation than buyers but we haven't hit that part of the graph where the lines intersect. Or just move into assets hit by extreme inflation into stuff that has not yet. That's why I have shifted to military vehicles and bought some tanks.

I can Typically I get the whole gun from someone and make a few of them, check the extractor, mag fitment....etc Ill give you a call this week Need to get some Galils from you and possible see if you want a few conex containers full of parts im tired of dealing with lol

Recently I have been in touch with Jim. He is retired now, so doesn't make the Japanese MG parts. I have 2 of his Type 99 magazines, and just the 7.62X39 barrel. I lack the AK magazine adapter and the flash hider for the 7.62X39 conversion barrel. If anyone has those to sell, please contact me. Richard You can either use the adapter or do like the Chinese did and weld a wedge on the back of the AK mag catch and a lip on the front. Have done it both ways for people its pretty easy work all things considered.

I have always liked mine. Have 4 or 5 of them right now and another 10 incoming and probably been through 30+ guns. To date none have ever come back having problems. All in I think I have fixed maybe 2 or 3 of them compared to dozens of other guns out there people tote as being robust.

Had a bringback AK once upon a time I was waiting on a FOIA for. It came back after I long since sold the gun roughly 3 years it took them.

This was actually a one owner gun. I know because I as the one who got it from the old man, went through it, and sent it to Jonathan since I don't enjoy the song and dance of gunbroker. Funny thing is the gun actually came from a guy who was one of the biggest photographers for Playboy for 20+ years. Whole house was framed magazine covers he did and all the girls he shot. Even had nude spreads of all the MG's he had with the girls. For the life of me idk why I didn't get copies of all of them. It was pretty cool though and he was savvy collector.

He fails to surprise or impress me anymore. Seeing how jaded he is on all firearms he personally doesn't like is just something I cannot get past as he runs a channel based on factual and practical aspects. I am honestly surprised he even did a video on this. Good thing I didn't bet on hell freezing over first!

Great guns I really enjoy mine. By far the most violent and uncontrollable battle rifle I own out of the G3, M14E2, FAL.

Curious is your bolt have a pin and removable firing pin? I see that the spring has the weight with it as well. If it is would you want to swap bolts? I have been looking for the ones with replaceable firing pins etc Ive got probably 5 sets of kits and would be happy to trade parts
