I've come to the same conclusion, the more STEN's I see the more the non critical dimensions vary. Does this book have dimensional drawings in it ? Edit just looked up the price of this book in the UK used, £115 is insane.

Thanks for that file, I hadn't seen the first half but the plans from page 26 on I have checked and they are not original or accurate they are a " version " someone has produced. For instance the barrel nut / shroud is 70 mm on a STEN mkII I've measured and these plans list it as 130 mm.

I'm using the coronavirus lockdown to make a non functional replica MKII ( I can't own a live one in the UK ) I've looked at various plans and PDFs online and none of them match the real thing as far as I can see. Can anyone help with actual measured dimensions from a genuine STEN ? Most urgent. Od of rear end bushing ,both steps & depth of groove for stock plate. Od of barrel and length Length of stock main round bar/ tube Butt plate and grip plates dimensions Trigger housing, all dimensions and locations of holes
