  1. I'd just buy a new one but if you want to fix it Tig probably would be the way to go.
  2. Dealing with ATF editable forms can be a pain. Open in different pdf reader sometimes fixes it. Most of the time I just use Acrobat to fix it and save a copy for the future Too bad your customer doesn't want eForm 4.. That gets approved less than 2 days. Maybe talk with them to reconsider.. Days vs months is well worth it. I've done eForm 4 electronically but mailed in fingerprint cards. That was painless but EFT files are easier and faster. The EFT file does not have a time limit
  3. PK is the man for those but like TD said it is likely polyurethane
  4. Not transferable. Premay. So hard to chose what I like best.. Having a lot of fun with a PM-63.
  5. More like 700-800 fire rate since MG42/59 is like a MG3. Heavy bolt, etc. This is more closer to 1000rpm..
  6. Got Uzi won't ship you a replacement.. What a great guy. (Ony Joking) Seriously it really depends on the situation. I understand both sides. Business is for making money and any lost packages sucks because if you didn't get insurance it's a loss for the seller if they refund/replace/charge back.
  7. Circle 10 so Bulgarian for sure. Bulgarians have really strange "PKMs". Really they are modernized PKs. The other is a MG42/59 with my custom designed (by me) optic mount.
  8. I requested to be on the list.. Do you think you have enough to reach me?
  9. Typically if I put the original parts to the side, I bag it with a label like original MG42 part and any notes needed. Sorry to hear your friend's passing
  10. I second the PKM. Well mine is a Arsenal MG-1M/PKM. Iron sights and I can hit a man size target at 200 yards.
  11. I used the original spring. I am also using the "original" firing pin. Worked out fine Make the pin not stick out at all or recessed a bit. The hammer would throw that forward hard.
  12. Just happen to see this post. The MG3/MG42 lafette as seen in your post at Murphys is low cost due to their availability. I've see them makes as HK or DISA. I personally have a DISA. MG42 Lafette post war Yugo are also relatively cheap. They are pretty much built like a WWII MG42 lafette or a WWII lafette converted to Yugo colors and label plate. MG42 Nazi era is more expensive if in original configuration but not crazy expensive. MG34 lafette.. Now that is the rare one and cost in the thousands. There are not many of them due to many were converted to MG42 LAFETTES. The dedicated MG34 parts removed and replaced with MG42 parts
