UPDATE 3: Merle .22LR Conversion Kits
Ryo replied to TSMG28's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
In 4 days it would be a year from requesting to be on the list. Hope I'm still on the list. đŸ¤” -
Be thankful that a transferable didnt turn into a postie.. that sucked. I did have a MP5 and American 180 turned into transferable to make up for it. Sadly the MG34 didn't change status.

Being tricky I see. (There are no prices listed there)

Gordan Herigstag spare parts kit
Ryo replied to Redacted's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
I'm grateful there were more to be had. Last year I completed my Fox FBI case finally.. -
You need to convert your firing pin to a inertia firing pin. Issue is metal fatigue from hammer and bullet primer causing the firing pin to flex. https://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?/topic/8854-paulfs-pictorial-guide-to-how-i-made-my-reising-run-great/

Thanks for sharing. If there is a will, there's a way.

My FBI Fox case is so nice that I don't want to use it unless I'm trying to display and that doesn't happen often. Took forever to get the right cleaning box and cleaning rod, both Gordon replicas.

Thompson Drum Greaser Tool For Sale
Ryo replied to Ryo's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
Still have some. Also I had updated the design. -
I would say also that the bolt impact to the back of the firearm will cause muzzle rise. James Sullivan had discussed improvements to the M16 where he modified design reduced rear impact and was able to shoot the M16 one handed.

It is online now to submit FIOA. I recommend only submit for the premays only. I got screwed where a transferable switched to a postie due to the manufactoring date.. Still so mad about it. https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/freedom-information-act-foia

I want to fire one..

Wow.. That was a pretty high bid.

Broke the firing pin in my Model 50 ( ??????? )
Ryo replied to 19Steve67's topic in Reising Message Board
PaulF inertia firing pin mod is awesome. I did and no malfunctions. I did have to file the Grove a bit to allow my firing pin to protrude more forward to allow solid contact to the primer. -
I own a 3 digit one. Great gun. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. There is a lot of history on them. Some bad because the military mixed parts up when cleaning, causing custom fit Reising to malfunction. You can Google it and find the story easily. Also there is a yellow book on Reising 50 that you can buy. You might want to convert it to a inertia firing pin to prevent firing pin breakage.

Had to giggle when the mag fell off the hood. Been there done that.

If the Keystone was made within the last 2 years, I can say they run perfectly fine.

I filed FOIA in late June.. no response yet.

USPS registered mail - WARNING!
Ryo replied to reconbob's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
I did registered mail shipped and received. Both packages took at least a month. Receiving package was said to delivered to a parcel locker.. But it wasn't. Doing hunting with the postmaster they find it 4 days later and I pick it up. Sent package barely any updates. It was like 2 or 3 weeks without tracking updates.. That sucked for the buyer.. -
Mg42 as well as MG34 are ejector brutal.

1928 WH doesn't run
Ryo replied to 2 LONG IN THE FOUL's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
Since your waiting for parts, I'd hold off on buying a barrel to see, unless you just want a spare. -
1928 WH doesn't run
Ryo replied to 2 LONG IN THE FOUL's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
Replace those inners.. My WH runs great with replacement parts. While your waiting for the parts, take a pair of calipers and measure the depth into your receiver this was one of the issue of WH where they either milled too deeply or not enough. Compare our list that value here to determine if that is right. -
