We can't have kids, however, I have a 180. Great gun for a kid, it us like a sewing machine. The 180 would be the last subgun I sell.

I have a 180. I would be curious if the winder will stay on the drum running upside or if it would vibrate loose? There is are two retaining springs that hold it, would not take much for it to fall out.

I am not very well set up for wood work but I have a full machine shop. I would run it on a Bridgeport personally.

Several years ago at SHOT show, c. 2012, I talked with the guy who ran the Colt custom shop. When they would get the old revolvers in for reblue, to recut the roll marks, they would pay a tool maker to sit there and hand engrave them. Slow tedious work that requires skilled labor and a steady hand.

Oddly enough, this is now marked sold pending funds on Sturm.
What strikes me as odd if this did sit in grease for years why there is putting on the receiver. Unless it was there before being blued, could be, not sure how important fit/finish was during the war time production.

It is worth buying the Tom Davis book about the Colts if you are interested in one. I have a copy and it is well worth the price.
There is a Colt on Sturm right now if you are in the market. The GB ad seems phishy to me, unless you are local in NE, and can inspect it/the paperwork in person.

All of my NFA items & license are in a corporation name. A few reasons:
1. No dealing with estate transfers and paperwork when I die. The corporation can stay alive forever as long as some pays the $30 fee every two years to the state of IN.
2. Anyone in the corporation so empowered can possess/use/transport NFA items.
3. If the corporation is sold, all assets, including the NFA items go with it. No transfers needed.
I see nothing a trust does that your existing corporation does not and you'll just run up legal fees paying to draw it up.

I have a RR Inland M2. I have yet to break any parts, however, you always hear M2s eat parts. I run a round bolt.
Suggestion for ammo is to load your own. I have an old Star set up in 30 Carbine. I have way too much brass & bullets bought back years ago. Have 10 M1s and the M2 to feed.
The new Inland guns seem well made from the ones I have had come through here. Fulton Armory also makes new ones last I knew.

I have an M1A1. I think the neat part about the M1s & M1A1s is they saw service during WW2.
I enjoy mine immensely. The best part about having machine guns is showing up somewhere, getting them out, and letting others try them, especially kids.

I am looking for an FFL/SOT to transfer a SBR UZI & can. This will transfer out of MI on a paper Form 4 from an estate, this transfer does not qualify for a Form 5 transfer to an hier. The buyer understands there will be $800 in transfer taxes and fees charged by the receiving FFL. Any leads appreciated.

Savage used to give away neon signs to the master dealers, not sure if they still do. They were neat looking when I had a store front.

I have a full size IMI Uzi. I like it--more so than the MP5 platform.
If I had about 15 grand looking for a home, I would look for an American 180. That is one of the neatest subguns out there!

How is the firearm going across state lines without going to an FFL/SOT?
If the transfer is approved to an FFL/SOT, sending a bona fide employee to fetch it should be an acceptable form of transportation. I am aware of no regulation requiring a common carrier to be used.
That said, I would suggest using USPS registered mail to ship it and insure for the current market value.

I just had a Form 4 from from a non-licensee to me, FFL/SOT, take 5 months mailbox to mailbox.

Dan Block did good work for me to fix a damaged rear sight and rebarrel on a WW2 M1A1.
Turn around time was very reasonable, work was done well, asked questions about the job, no compliants!

As long as you pay the fee and meet the requirements, i.e. not prohibited from possessing a firearm you can get the license.
If you are like me, you read the rule book before getting a license, then learned after you got the license from older guys with a license that were knowledgeable.

You could look in Quickload or one of the software programs that run on an algorithm. Use the low end/reduce 10 %.
Sierra may have data, it is worth a call to their 800 no. I have always had good service from them.
