  4. F Marked Trigger Plate = Lindstrom Company Bridgeport, Connecticut.
  5. I don’t believe that AOC ever manufactured magazine catch’s.
  6. Disassemble and check your bolt parts closely before firing. It appears that you are possibly at least missing a buffer, as the pilot is protruding out way too far.
  7. Markings on all imported firearms became mandatory in the 1968 Gun Control Act Effective 10/22/1968. “Section 178.92 also requires licensed importers and licensed manufacturers to conspicuously place the following identification markings on the frame, receiver, or barrel of each firearm imported or manufactured in a manner not susceptible of being readily obliterated, altered, or removed: 3. The name (or recognized abbreviation of same) of the manufacturer and also, when applicable, of the importer;” 5. In the case of an imported firearm, the name of the country in which manufactured and the city and State (or recognized abbreviation thereof) where the importer maintains its place of business.”

  9. Unfortunately as already stated it’s a bad reproduction. When these were being sold they were listed and priced as such (Reproduction), however time erases things.
  10. Beer goggles wouldn’t help that gun 🤔
  11. There were definitely two cases manufactured specifically for the 1903 Springfield Rifle. The “Cover, Rifle Model 1916” was a canvas case with leather flap and the “Cover, Rifle Model 1918” was similar configuration, however eliminated the leather flap being all canvas. The “Model 1918 Cover” was also issue with the Model 1917 Rifle. Both Springfield cover/case models pre-date and are not associated with the BAR.
  12. Some photos of a Manville 37mm Gas Shell, measures approximately 7.5 inches in length. Also some factory literature that was wrapped around the shell when packaged.
