Someone wants to trade a limited run of the Colt LE6920HB that was a run of 300 of these Colts during the AWB (2003) I just don't know what the ballpark price would be for a NOS rifle in the 160s of the 300 made. Basically, this is a 16.1 inch version of the heavy SOCOM barrel that Colt’s manufactures for all the M4A1 rifles used by our Special Operation soldiers. These carbines were manufactured exclusively for Specialized Armament Warehouse (SAW). As of this writing, this model had a one time run of 300 special order carbines manufactured by Colt for SAW. This is not to say at some point in the future Colt or SAW may offer it again as a special run or as a new product. The LE6920 began as a special run item and then turned into a regular product. One other member got ahold of me. He is in the same situation. We have talked and he is being very helpful. we are on the lower end of the fraud. 180K and 150K compared to our 30K and under loss.

Rekraps, I am going on what the sheriff told me. I sent him a couple of guns to use before the deal was consumated. At one point I talked with him about sending the guns back. He told me that the Thompson and American 180 he was going to send me were on paper fForm 4s as a part of his fathers estate. Later he told me that he had made a mistake on the Form 4s and it would be a little while. A little while was never. As for me, I trnsfered on Form 3s directly to his inventory.

I need some insight from members who have been there or know of. Okay, here we go. One of our brethren members and I have traded over the last couple of years. I traded 2 select fires and some $ and he was going to send me a pre-May 1928 and American 180 with some goodies. He told me the guns needed to be transfered from paper for 4s to from 3s. It had been quite a while but we were in tough through texts. Unfortunately I got a call from an under sheriff today letting me know my guns were sold and there is nothing left. I guess he turned himself into the authorities yesterday. He owes me 3 subguns or $31500. He owes some else a lot more. So the guns were sent to him as payment and then he sold them to someone else. Sounds like selling and double sellings guns and not coming up with the goods. 1. Are my sub guns being sold a case of sellng stolen goods? 2. Do I have any recourse in getting the guns back? I really could use advise from any of you if you have had this happen or if you have hard knowledge of what can be done. Thanks, Chappy

Sold at a somewhat decent price. It seems that prices for Thompsons and other select fire are not as soft as they were unless Morphy's was an anomaly.

I looked into my spares and found fewer actuators than I thought. I had replaced two of the WH with USGI when I sold them So I only found 2 Remington and one Savage. I do want to keep one for parts. I also have 8 bolts both nickel and blued made by Remington and Savage. up for a trade? I also have 2 WH actuators that I will use as doorstops. I bought a lot of stuff from Reconbob as he was selling Doug Richarsons parts. I did not kow that USGI parts don't fail often.

I hve a half dozen spare Savage actuators in a box sitting in front of me. Let me know if you need one.. Chappy

Thank you for the photos. I have a fascination With the Lewis Gun. I have had opportunites to purchase but right or wrong, I have not done so because of the lack of parts for the Navy Model. All of my select fire guns are shooters and I didn't know enough about the Lweis to feel comfortable buying a gun I might "break." Maybe,... one of these days.

I felt the same way. I did find some NOS for $53 but it's like they are rare or something. Luckily I found a box of magazines that are still in wrapper. Covered in Nasty grease but at least I don't need to buy more. I am moving towards my FND and I am getting Beautiful NOS magazines for $20. At $20 I feel like I hit the lottery. Chappy

The GB seller isselling on consignment and seems to be relying on the sellers description. I noted the comp and sight and he said that he asked the owner who replied "That's because it is a Navy model" As for me, I picked up an M1A1 from Sienna as a pre-May and shot it yesterday. It works great. To tell you the truth, I much prefer the peep sight to the Lyman adjustable. Be well, my friend. Chappy

Bob, I see these on GB sometimes and they are advertised as NOS. I don't think people making new parts is bad at all. It saves our originals in shooters. But, to try to rip people off with fakes is a bad business practice. I have worked with you on some Richardson items and you are above and beyong,... scrupulously honest.
