  1. Sold at a somewhat decent price. It seems that prices for Thompsons and other select fire are not as soft as they were unless Morphy's was an anomaly.
  2. I looked into my spares and found fewer actuators than I thought. I had replaced two of the WH with USGI when I sold them So I only found 2 Remington and one Savage. I do want to keep one for parts. I also have 8 bolts both nickel and blued made by Remington and Savage. up for a trade? I also have 2 WH actuators that I will use as doorstops. I bought a lot of stuff from Reconbob as he was selling Doug Richarsons parts. I did not kow that USGI parts don't fail often.
  3. I hve a half dozen spare Savage actuators in a box sitting in front of me. Let me know if you need one.. Chappy
  4. Thank you for the photos. I have a fascination With the Lewis Gun. I have had opportunites to purchase but right or wrong, I have not done so because of the lack of parts for the Navy Model. All of my select fire guns are shooters and I didn't know enough about the Lweis to feel comfortable buying a gun I might "break." Maybe,... one of these days.
  5. I felt the same way. I did find some NOS for $53 but it's like they are rare or something. Luckily I found a box of magazines that are still in wrapper. Covered in Nasty grease but at least I don't need to buy more. I am moving towards my FND and I am getting Beautiful NOS magazines for $20. At $20 I feel like I hit the lottery. Chappy
  6. So the GB seller is selling a reweld without even knowing it? Good call and thanks. Like I wrote before, I am happy with my gun but this one looked just wrong. When you find a unicorn, check the horn.
  7. The GB seller isselling on consignment and seems to be relying on the sellers description. I noted the comp and sight and he said that he asked the owner who replied "That's because it is a Navy model" As for me, I picked up an M1A1 from Sienna as a pre-May and shot it yesterday. It works great. To tell you the truth, I much prefer the peep sight to the Lyman adjustable. Be well, my friend. Chappy
  8. The configuration doesn't seem possible for an M! and especially an M1A1. Thoughts? https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1098950590
  9. Thank you. I see What a Country has some also. The price has gone higher than expected.
  10. I stored away all my mags and I need to send some off with a BAR I sold. I need to find 10-12 magazines in good condition. PM me if your can help. Thanks - Chappy
  11. rpbcps I want to thank you for your kind gift. I received the flyer and it is going to be framed and hung in my gunroom. You really went above and beyond by mailing this from Europe. You help make MGB a better forum. Thank you! -Chappy
  12. Bob, I see these on GB sometimes and they are advertised as NOS. I don't think people making new parts is bad at all. It saves our originals in shooters. But, to try to rip people off with fakes is a bad business practice. I have worked with you on some Richardson items and you are above and beyong,... scrupulously honest. The difference between to manufacturer-sellers Chappy
  13. Enjoy. Get back to us about the remebrance as to show and if people are interested in the fight for freedom. Lest we forget! Really nice poster. Any chance they can be sent to the US? I collect WW1 and 2 recruiting and bond posters. Chappy
  14. I don't like to clean my rifles that much.
  15. Better yet, Signal_4,.... Death by the pulling of a 1000 nose hairs, one by painful one!
  16. come on,... it was pretty funny. Now ban Signa_4 for life!
  17. I will send you the photo if you PM me your email. He did not give me the permission to post it publicly. None of the Form 4 is blurred/deleted so it shows everything. Interesting that it has N/A under barrel length.
  18. I have a copy of the Form 4 signed in 1986. He is easy to email with and is fully available to answer questions. Chappy
  19. Sorry to hear about this. I live in Texas so there is very little going on here with Thompsons. I would love to go but distance makes this difficult. Was someone carrying and had a ND or something even more egregious? Chappy
  20. They had been through a fire so the probability of that would be slim. Not 0 but slim.
