  1. Picked one up off Amazon 37, very nicely done, well documented, lots of pics. My M3 is an amnesty registered vet bring back. I actually met the vet. He was with Patton’s army during the breakout in France. Had a Garand, but wanted a M3, so “appropriated” one from a tank. Very strange story goes with the gun. Anyway was in excellent condition. I also had an exact replica of the Bell Labs suppressor made and serial numbered the gun. The guy who made the suppressor had a friend who is one of the “curators “ at the MoD Pattern Room in Leeds, where they had a couple of the original guns and suppressors.. He did all the measurements. I was surprised that given how long it is, the gun is very nicely balanced. It is great fun to shoot
  2. TD - last shot the drum at least 15yrs ago and it ran fine. A couple of rotor pics for you
  3. That is indeed a keen eye. Never thought it was some “factory presentation drum” or anything like that. Assumed a refinish but why wouldn’t you do an original. When I was active on this board years ago, the RKI factor was exceptional. Nice to know nothing has changed. Much like the Bowers Subguns board was in its day, especially on select fire guns. My thanks.
  4. Standard Bridgeport drum but with beautiful deep bluing, excellent condition. All I’ve ever seen were that grayish park. Can’t find any book references. Can anyone shed any light on this. Thanks
  5. To all who have sent msgs. I appreciate your interest, but I have no idea as to realistic prices. I am still trying, with very limited success, to find comps. I do know that for sale will be 1 NY drum, 2nd model Worcester nickel rotor correct as described by Hill p 333, 1 NY drum 4th variation Hill p333, 1 or 2 Bridgeport drums. I hope to have pics up this weekend.
  6. Be glad to. How do I post to him. I used to buy various books and manuals from him before he started running the boards. We’re both from Austin.
  7. Use to post under Jerrys. long before Dave started running the board but haven’t been active for many years. After 20+ years am downsizing my overall collection. Will post pics of 4, all are AO drums, 2 w New York address, 2 w Bridgeport address and U stamped i would greatly appreciate any help w reasonable pricing as original drums don’t come up too often. Will get pics up tomorrow. Thanks Jerry
