  1. I got mine and case of ammo to make up for the delay. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/slap.gif
  2. Have you seen one in any movies besides the Reising Model 55 in U571? I'd have thought they'd be in movies set in the early Pacific theatre. Gratuitous pic of my incoming Reising. The crease on the stock is much less in person and is the only blemish on it. Selectors were case harded? Hard to imagine that. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/dallasboy/P3070001.jpg
  3. Thanks for your replies. I decided to forgo the hardcase and buy expensive mags instead. I did order a M1 carbine replica canvas carry from Pacific Canvas. My choice of stencil was USMC for the Reisings dubious history with them.
  4. I bought a Reising yesterday and admired my friends Fed Labs hardcase. How much would I expect to pay for a decent one? Does anyone have a spare? Thanks, Kevin kevins1@airmail.net

  6. Pretty sharp looking, especially with the case and "City of Pittsburgh". Congrats.

  8. I voted "don't give a F' I've owned both, only FA now. I don't think it would be a good idea to separate SA from FA owners.
  9. Finally made a love connection with my 2004 IAWCA Sterling yesterday. It's almost home (with my dealer) Finish looks great! Runs like a sewing machine. Even shot at point of aim. Thanks for the Xmas present IAWCA. http://www.iawca.org/ http://www.freepichosting.com/Thumbs/421592690/0/1.jpg
  10. The wait sucks, but the price is great news. I may have to consider 3 drums instead of two.
  11. Hawkeye, I bought two tickets. Do you think they'll give me credit towards another ticket in the 2005 drawing since I only used one? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif
  12. I have a Sterling coming in (thanks to the good folks at www.iawca.org/ I'd like to find a couple of pouches that fit the curved magazines. I understand that some Canadian military surplus stores may have them. Has anyone here found any?
  13. Rec'd a Thompson brass cleaning rod from IMA with every sort of gunk on it. What solvent can I use that won't harm the brass? btw: When clean, it will look cool the the case.
