  1. Greg, I have a Books Trunk case for the 07, if that helps. Shoot me a PM or email I think there are pics posted on here somewhere Thanks, Ron
  2. I think I bought mine for around $100, not sure what the current market value is out there. Ron
  3. I’m sure there will be some following the show or later. It’s a busy event and most of the time the photos show up in the following days with travel and all. Ron
  4. Hmmm, I like my Colt better, lol ? Ron
  5. Dan, I’ll take two if you have enough. Let me know and I’ll mail it out Thanks, Ron
  6. Nothing like that feeling when she’s finally yours after all the money and wait!! Ron
  7. Steve, Mike Kline was a caretaker and travelled all over with the guns and helped with preservation and education. Ron
  8. I find the pouch interesting as well. When I looked at the French web page for the knock of Cutts compensator, I see a similar mag pouch (I presume this page has a reproduction pouch), but I’d love to know more information about either pouch. Ron
  9. I agree, I’d be interested in some spare parts and suppressor adapter, also modifications to not need to remove the ejector. I have an early Merle kit that I’ve not used yet. Certainly Dan can become the 22 guy ?
  10. As they say, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. A papered west Hurley receiver is worth more than $10k now a days That said, scammers are always fishing looking for a bite Ron
  11. It’s with a hugely heavy heart that I share with you all the sudden passing of my dear friend Mike Wank, known as Giantpanda4 on the board and actively involved in both TATA and TCA. Mike and his family were among some of the first people I met at my very first TATA show over 20 years ago and we instantly became friends. At first we shared an interest in the Thompson and both lived in Michigan but we grew to become friends on so many levels, like family, and gun show buddies. Rest in peace dear friend, you are deeply missed. Ron Mike Wank November 22, 1958 ~ June 3, 2023 Obituary His Legacy… Michael David Wank, age 64, passed away June 3, 2023. He was born on November 22, 1958 in Ludington, MI to David and Jean (Acuña) Wank. Mike graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering. He married the love of his life, Julie English, on May 31, 1980 in Detroit, MI. Mike retired in 2018 from General Motors Proving Ground. Mike liked motorcycles, collecting cars, and a variety of other unique hobbies. He enjoyed photography and also worked with stained glass. Mike enjoyed spending time in the Upper Peninsula, especially in Houghton, MI. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His Family… Mike leaves behind his wife, Julie, of 43 years; son, Eric (Danielle) Wank; brother, Alan (Roxie) Wank; and nephews, Russ (Cara) Wank and Matthew (Caroline) Wank. He is preceded in death by his parents. His Farewell… Mike’s Community Farewell will be on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 12PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel with a gathering beginning at 10AM until the time of service. The family requests super casual attire like jeans and your favorite t-shirt (suits discouraged). Memorial contributions are suggested to the Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation or Michigan Technological University ME-EM Department. 12. That is some great information Arthur. Yes it’s just like the pictured. I will take some pictures of it and add to this post for posterity. A bit off your topic, but this is a great NOBUCKL thread. I will check my couple of web slings for marking position as well. Ron
  13. Not to venture too far off topic, but I’d anyone has more details on the leather NOBUCKL I would love to know more. I have one, but would venture they are pretty scarce/low survival? Thanks, Ron
  14. Richard, what does an Owen bayonet look like (ie what was modified to fit the Owen)? PS, I got to shoot your Owen in 2019, a great memory of mine of the former owner and the last I saw him. Thanks, Ron
  15. Not from the crime scene. These were more recently fired and recovered from the guns, but from the actual SVDM guns Ron
  16. Have a look here. It’s about partway down https://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2706-thompson-faq-check-here-first/
  17. For no real reason other than curiosity I bought a Pocket 9 on GB. Keeping my eyes peeled for a Combat Master. sometime too. First impression is wow is it heavy, but I kinda like the sleekness. Ron
  18. I got mine yesterday. Good thing Tom only charges $20 ea for in-person signings to all of us that got the sale deal!!!! Ron
  19. He will be missed. I spoke to him a. Few times and always so nice to talk about his 22 kit. Dan I hope you can carry on sone of the legacy and knowledge Ron
  20. While the FNC may be military adopted, the Ruger was A-Team adopted, that gets way more points in my book and I love it when a plan comes together Ron
  21. If you copy and paste the links they will open. It’s a result of a board migration/upgrade recently. Not ideal, but it’s going to take time to restore all the content in the pinned posts. It can be accessed via copy and paste Ron
  22. That could be. I’ve not shot S&B 9mm, but I know when it comes to 45acp in subguns it’s hard to beat and I believe it runs considerably faster (hotter) than others. Not sure how it compares to vintage 9mm subgun rounds tho Ron
  23. SR, Have you tried running with S&B? Just curious if you’ve tried and if it’s reliable Ron
