  1. Well,Don Quinnel built me a Stenling out of a John Norrell Sten MK2.He welded up the cocking slot to Sterling specs.Did not ask him to do so thats the way it came back.Having said that the weapon was a disaster, cracked welds, unreliable, sent back 4 times, not to mention the self collapsing stock while firing!Stan Andrewski repaired the stock by welding up the tabs on the stock.Later on had John Andrewski do a complete rebuild and refinish ,Neither Stan or John had a "problem" working on my welded cocking slot stenling. Now 27,000 rnds later not a single stoppage using IMI 124 gr NATO ammo.If you want a Sterling have Don build you one then send to John for a complete rebuild.Andrewski will not build you one any more but he WILL rebuild your gun and it WILL be perfect.
  2. Do not get a UZI bolt, they are NOT indestructable.Richard at BWE repaired my IMI RR a few years back that had an oob, bolt was split along the bottom. If bolt was regestered I would be shit out of luck.
  3. John rebuilt a Don Quinnel Sterling MK4 for me some years back.22K flawless rounds later, yeah John is king.
  4. Replace the trigger, sear spring. The same thing happened to me.You know the spring under the dust cover.Spring is weak, swap it out.
  5. John will fix that like new. There is no on better than him.Dont worry.
  6. Be prepared to send it to Andrewski for a complete rebuild.Cracked welds self folding stock ect.Been there done that.4 trips back to DGS only to send to John Andrewski to PROPERLY rebuild weapon.Good Luck.
  7. Wear and tear on your sear? No way. Enjoy your RR as far as barrel length anything goes.
