  1. I have a copy if someone is still looking. I also have a signed SVDM book on FleaBay now that would be cheaper here.
  2. Yeah I know not a machine gun but... This was in with a bunch of Colt parts so I ass u me it is also Colt?
  3. I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the nicest 21 with pretty dang cool provenance that I have seen on the internets.
  4. I'm a lot like herpes... just last forever... can't get rid of me. As much as some un-named people tried. Wow, just looked at your profile and you are 97 years old! You remind me of my grandfather who lived to be 107. That guy was still following the stock market daily, and could hold a decent conversation right up to the end. He was in the Kansas National Guard and wore the old blue calvary uniform. Were you in the military during WW2, Korea, Vietnam? Actually truth be told, that is the birthday of the 1921 Thompson I used to own... I did not participate in any conflicts but that is a whole nother story.

  6. Ok, I changed my auction a bit. Thanks for the input. I did add a caveat to look very closely on the photos though. As pointed out way back when the knurling on the knob is suspect. I guess imaging would tell.
  7. Well let's see what it does, five years later..... Bet you didn't even know the Z3 f****r was still alive. Been a while since I have done Thompson parts, so don't know if the auction will make it to the end or not. https://www.ebay.com/itm/143129049120?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  8. I'm selling my Selecter pistol and I thought I would let "the board" have first shot before I go to Gunbroke or elsewhere. You can look at all the details of what is included with my posting that is half way down in this forum page. I want $1,200 which includes shipping and insurance to your door. A fairly rare item with great provenance.
  9. OK.... It has been a long time since I donated to the board and I am offering two of Ian Skennerton's Lee-Enfield books for sale with all proceeds to go to the Thompson Board. You will pay the board directly and I will ship media mail to you. Cost of the books are $60 shipped. These are great books and that is 10 bucks and free shipping less than I get on ebaY. The reason I have not donated lately is that I was accused of buying favor on the board and to tell you the truth it hurt my little feelers and kinda pissed me off at the same time. I would donate 10% of anything I sold here on the boards. When selling Thompsons you do the math. But I figgered I would have never found out about Thompsonitas, and all that goes with it without all the people here. The knowledge helped me with all my dealings and I could not have done it without this board.... Anyhow be that as it may, PM if you want a book. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/ebaY/ebaY%2008.10.2017%20a_zpsv0evicst.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/ebaY/ebaY%2008.10.2017%20b_zpsqset0ilt.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/ebaY/ebaY%2008.10.2017%20c_zpsfmisfn6t.jpg
  10. Antique night watchmans clock case? Antique????? I carried one of those when I was a security/fire watchman when I was first married.... And I ain't no antique!
  11. For the Scottish Thompson gun....http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Thompson%20Stuff/Scottish%20Thompson%2012.07.2016%20a_zpserzgkaex.jpg
  12. I think the difference is that this one actually uses a cartridge with propellant that ignites with a firing pin. Later ones use co2 gas cartridges.
  13. I had a Prowler Fowler at the gun show and someone got into my face about it being an NFA item. It is put away for the moment so no pics right now. This one actually takes a cartridge and does have a rifled tube. I can't find anything saying it is NFA on my fancy computer.

  15. Not a what is it really but more of a have you seen one. I figger this board has combined years in the thousands when it comes to guns and gun collecting so why not tap into it. This poor thing sat in a holster for way too long and is pretty dang ugly but like many holster damaged guns the bore is pristine. It in fact shoots excellent in single action mode with the 48 pound trigger pull just a bit more than this old man can handle. I have perused the internets with a fine tooth mouse and come up with no info on this thing. I do find many long guns with the Belknap Hardware and Essex logo but nothing like this. So has anyone here seen such a beast as this? I would like to scan some of the old catalogs but at a hundred bucks a pop to buy em, that is a bit cost prohibitive. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Gun%20Stuff/Colt%20New%20Service%20Conversion%2010.19.2016%20a_zpsxcayxc5o.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Gun%20Stuff/Colt%20New%20Service%20Conversion%2010.19.2016%20b_zpsspajtavz.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Gun%20Stuff/Colt%20New%20Service%20Conversion%2010.19.2016%20c_zpszbre1ucz.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Gun%20Stuff/Colt%20New%20Service%20Conversion%2010.19.2016%20d_zps3he39zhm.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Gun%20Stuff/Colt%20New%20Service%20Conversion%2010.19.2016%20e_zpsl0p5ys7e.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Gun%20Stuff/Colt%20New%20Service%20Conversion%2010.19.2016%20f_zpsps3u5tlv.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Gun%20Stuff/Colt%20New%20Service%20Conversion%2010.19.2016%20g_zps3al3lt74.jpg
  16. Colonel Rex Applegate was a long time resident where I live here in Southern Oregon and I would see him set up at local gun shows many a time when I was much younger. I never knew nor could I appreciate that he was a BIG deal at the time. I'm talking when I was in my teens doing shows with my dad and I am a bit past my teens now. I did talk with him on occasion but only chit chat. Once we were talking about knife fighting and his words to me were, "The best knife fighting tools you have are your two feet... Just haul ass as fast as you can because there are no winners in a knife fight!" I never purchased any of his little trinkets he had or bought his books he would sell and I have always regretted it. So at the last Oregon Arms Collectors show I had an opportunity to pick up this pistol that came from his estate. I over paid for it but sometimes the heart overrules the head. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20a_zpskv2uanmd.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20b_zpstcxavm8w.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20c_zpsgrcijdcw.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20d_zps78xgwvlu.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20e_zps0ejegneo.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20f_zpsgftdb9ha.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20g_zpsxspk7mzk.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20h_zpsphwtd5yl.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20i_zpsipxyhhp8.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20j_zpsbctlj0j8.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20k_zpsfckbcvpd.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/z3bigdaddy/Applegate%20Selecter%20Pistol/Selecter%20Pistol%2010.19.2016%20l_zpsyn85meig.jpg
