  1. Additional pictures. Know enough to be dangerous and to spot a refinish, this is all original Colt blue here folks. Additionally I find it odd that this one escaped a listing in the book. Wish there was a way to determine some facts on it's origin. I'll be checking on where and how it was obtained but I can tell you it was years ago as it's been sitting idle and unfired in the doc's vault for a good while now. http://i41.tinypic.com/29z4dua.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/2mq4uic.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/6zroya.jpg http://i42.tinypic.com/eqcu34.jpg
  2. Have a friend looking to market said TSMG possibly and would like learned opinion on current selling price for this beautiful firearm. Upper and lower match. Bridgeport 50rd drum and some sticks and repro case included. Only mark a slight scratch (shown in pic) behind & below ejector. It'd be neat to know what if any detail is behind the history of this firearm. Thanks in advance, GP http://i44.tinypic.com/20awgex.jpg
  3. Jay was a regular poster here and on other boards. He'll be missed. RIP good buddy, Jonathan ---------------------------- James (Jay) Baker died at his home in Lawrenceville GA on Friday. He was survived by his wife and daughter. The visitation is today from 5 to 7 The funeral is tomorrow at 2 pm Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd Duluth (I think) 770-448-5757
  4. I have 30rd Thompson Machine Gun magazines for sale. These are all WWII USGI mags and are all Seymour made except for one which is some other USGI contractor. All are in new condition and blued with minor marks from being handled and moved over the past decades they've been in storage. These are MG mags and from what I saw of the one's I've actually kept and used in my M1A1 Thompson, function flawlessly. Price is $20 per mag with shipping @ $5 per mag unless combining multiples in which case I'll work something out to save buyer some # on shipping. What you see is what you get so don't snooze, these are nice and will go quick. Strip out the NOSPAM to email me. gone.postal@NOSPAMmindspring.com http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/ThompsonMags.jpg
  5. Been there, done that. Came out pretty good. WH gun had been modded for quick change bbls so it was easy to swap suppressed for original bbl. http://www.gone-postal.org/GP_Evil_Suppres...ed_Thompson.wmv
  6. Gun is easily over $20k which is what transferrable, non dewat, non Medea guns are selling for today. If the gun could be tied via paperwork or documentation to the OSS then the price just got better by 50% or more IMHO. Supressor is C&R??? Well that would be rare and again if it was an original OSS designed and built can and had some documentation to that effect it would be worth couple grand by itself. HTH
  7. Arthur: I have no respect for any kind of gun snob as it's right up there in my book with the kind of Elmer Fudd mentality that keeps firearm owners from truly organizing against tyranny and no doubt will be the eventual downfall of us all. FOPA proved that quite nicely as the rest of the 2nd Amendment advocates threw machinegun owners under the figurative bus in compromise. I could go into detail about how negative it is to choose some Jewish gangster's name because of how violent he was and how much that could "cost" us all in bad PR but truthfully, I don't give a flying fuck what "name" you, me or anyone else for that matters chooses to use on the Internet. Arguing that is retarded. As for your banning, it goes back several months. You only were allowed to post recently by dumb luck and chance because of a mixup in IPs. Needless to say it won't happen again. Don't like that? Make your appeal to Tom or Jay or someone who can change things for you but make no mistake, it's not going to happen unless your attitude changes a little. I am not connected with any management of that or any other board, just happen to know certain people who informed me of the facts concerning your visits there and the resulting actions taken against you. Needless to say, this alone says alot about you in general. Now go ahead and think up some witty articulate response and don't forget to throw in a personal jab or two while you're at it. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif
  8. Remo: There are others that have tried to use logic with Art but clearly nothing anyone says makes sense to him since he's in denial. A very quick search turns up a dozen other threads where this elitist attempts to prove how holier than thou he is and how posters on this board and others respond with distain. Nobody just "gets banned" for no reason, especially on Subguns. As is obvious, the guy is simply a bit of a antagonist & has been written off as such. Notice how quickly my suggestion to stop being a coward was met with him making a pathetic stab at my name of all things. Grow the fuck up ya Dutch Schultz wannabe.
  9. QUOTE (Arthur Fliegenheimer @ Jan 17 2006, 02:50 PM) JJ, Twice banned? That was only in Boston. If you had taken a moment from your usual priapic response to all things AF, you might actually read Tallahassee Ted's musings. His disdain for the TSMG stands by itself. Since you sympathize with Ted's post, that can only be described as antithetical to TSMG owners, you must be developing another virulent neurosis. You're banned at Subguns.com Try posting. Don't talk smack about Ted here where he can't see you. At least have the balls to confront him in a forum where he can retort.
  10. Hammer: Considering every single other M3 for sale today or in the last 6-12 months is/was listed for $20+K, I'd say, yeah thats a good deal but since I heard the bbl was a replacement so it was prolly a dewat earlier in it's lifespan. Brits painted all their shit black for some damn reason. STEns, GGs, rifle and have even seem a tommy or two with Brit stamps painted black. Johnny: Yeah it's a sweeeet, all original, not screwed with gun. Too bad I've run over budget on the lake house as it's gonna have to go at some point soon. Oh well, thats the breaks! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif
  11. http://www.sturmgewehr.com/webBBS/nfa4sale....cgi?read=68576 I noticed it over a month ago and thought "damn, that'll go immediately at that price." Boy was I wrong! It's sat unsold now for a good while at what seems like a cheapo price. Strangely no mention of Curio and Relic status in the ad itself but pic show it to be a standard black painted lend lease marked gun. Perhaps something is amiss with this specimen? I only ask because I sold one of the two I've owned 3-4 months back for 2K more than he's asking and it went rather quickly. Has the mkt gone soft or is there more than meets the camera eye with this particular gun? I'd like to know because I'm planning on selling my other M3 greaser fairly soon to further finance the lake house. GP
  12. here's the "real" Chuckie http://keepandbeararms.com/images/SCHUMER.jpg
  13. Perhaps the no pics policy that makes selling a problem. LOL - your ears burning esteemed Ron? There's discussion elsewhere on another board about you being a picture scrooge. wink!
  14. Mitch I sent you an email as I have a friend with a GG that has a plate like that & he os trying to determine which PD that was that they came from originally. He thinks it might have been Dallas or something. Pls advise.
  15. I am the son of that fine Jewish couple. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif
