  1. Your going to get a headache with all that bumping... Mike answered you... And have you done the ebaYâ„¢ thing yet?
  2. OK now I'm confused http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wacko.gif the XL drum with my 1927A5 was made for a toy gun?
  3. Wait a second... Refinish as last resort! What do you think bluing is? It is rust or oxidation.... You need to take fine steel wool and WD40 and take off what surface rust you can, the steel wool will not harm the bluing left on the drum, and then just keep it siliconed/oiled,the continued deterioration will be unoticeable to the human eye... In fact back in the good old days, one of the common things done on new rifles in the white was to leave it out side in the grass or whatever to get the dew on it so it would rust after which the rifle would be wiped down and well oiled creating the browned finish that many old rifles still retain to this day...
  4. $8.50 plus shipping here---->Numrich Arms OOPS!!! My bad, sold out it appears... §¦-( Sorry....
  5. I think that was the Madel 22 27A-3. The 1980 Thompson catalog that I have list the Model 28 with choice of calibre.... No mention of alloy reciever anywhere.... It does say the "Model 22 27A-3 features lightweight construction using space age alloys in the receiver."
  6. Ya done a good deed... Probably saved some people possible grief.... You deserve an attaboy!
  7. "As others in this thread have stated, stay away from this deal, it can only be trouble. Why? Because our politicians passed laws that now prohibit the importation of "American made" firearms and parts of this type. " Been there knew that..... btaim Mario my post was just to make sure you understood the French had the same privileges as you as far a non-working machine guns... And that they don't have the same privilege as far as working f/a weapons. As far as shipping guns to France when we can't have them.... That is also just a little off.... We can sell f/a weapons to military and police, as is just the case since 1986 in this country.... I guess I'm trying to say, politely, that your statements are false.
  8. Uh yes and know... France has different dewatting rules is all... They have to demill it by welding the barrel closed and possibly the bolt too... In England I believe it is that way also.... It's in the good ole USofA that we have to cut up the receivers. So they are just like us, only I don't think that can own any operating f/a period, unlike here... I think if you read description it even talks of it being welded shut... And just what do our politicians have to do with French gun laws btw?
