Complete A2 trigger group purchased, I am trying to avoid touching the buffer or anything else. I don't care about slow or fast rate of fire I just need Full auto only.

Someone chime in please I am going crazy trying to figure this one out.

Wts: Nos-niw 20-rd "blued" Bar Mags.
ammo replied to Blanksguy's topic in Browning Message Board (Full Auto Only)
Richard the mags look great, I hated to take one out of the waxed paper. Blued mags, bottom no markings with a hole and the follower marked "s" as otherwise no other markings. -
OOW called me back today and said sorry they were wrong and do not have any furniture for the 1918 left.

I have on transfer a original 1918 BAR and unfortunately live in a state that requires "Full Auto Only" I want the gun converted without damaging any of the original parts. I was told that a 1918A2 trigger pack could be swapped and the gun would only fire Full Auto. Also was told that the buffer did not have to be altered. Any comments appreciated.

Congratulations! I have not decided what to shoot in mine either. I can't get the CMP M2 I am not a member and am a bit concerned about the Korean. Let me know what ammo you end up liking. -
I will try to get them to you . Thanks

I just spoke to OOW and they are sending me a new set of furniture. Thanks very much for the advice.

Numerich claims they have a set for 45 bucks I wonder what they are like.
-
Their repro furniture seems way high on price but I could be wrong.

MY 1918 original butt stock has a slight crack in it and I would like to find a replacement for when I actually shoot it. Who has a reasonably priced set of shooter furniture for a 1918 BAR? Thanks

Ohio Ord is making a repro smooth Flash hider for the WWI 1918 BAR. Has anyone seen one in person? I am thinking I might get one until I find a real one. Any comments would be appreciated.

I don't know how to post pictures but will try and get some taken today. The serial range is 247XXX. Any reccomendations on ammo to put through it? Nothing corrosive but a nice case of surplus would be great.

After searching for a few months I finally found a C&R BAR 1918 Marlin Rockwell. It just transferred and I can't wait to take it out for a spin. Evidently it was owned by a MR employee and registered in 1934 and has been sitting in his Grand Daughters attic since 1959. I am doing research on it as we speak. It is in excellent shape and has not been abused. It is not a reweld or rewat and I got it for well under 20K, proof that there are still some decent deals out there if you look hard. I am missing the smooth flash hider and would like to know if you hear of one.

Who has NIW blued mags? When would they have been made?

What would a mismatched beat up 28 Bridgeport Thompson bring these days? Gun has been reparked and bead blasted several times. Internals do not match but it runs well. Looking for a ball park on its value.
-
Looking at a Colt Thompson tomorrow. I will probably get about 30 mins to examine it. What should I look for? So far Model #, serial number, internals, ejector, barrel markings, finish etc. I know this is a tough question and hard to learn in a few days but I thought I would ask. I have read the pages in Franks book on the Colt's. Thanks
