Thanks msfhotrod for that info. It just dawned on me that I should get one of those scabbards that attach to the side of the bike for xport!

Was hoping that I could pick up my Colt-ac on my motorcycle when the transfer clears. The ride is a very pleasant 4-hours round trip, much better on two wheels than on four on a nice sunny day. I need to know the length of the colt-ac with buttstock removed to see if the gun will fit into my hard side-cases. Your help is appreciated. And yes, I support this message. Thanks.
