  1. Yup, BS. No pitting, nothing even though it appears to have surfaced from the bottom of the Atlantic....youtube views and advert money.
  2. Yes to what Bob said, also may have been run in a West Hurley that has the slots cut at the wrong angle.
  3. You could go back and search the threads on these Taiwan drums, as I recall the first batch that went for sale that still had the Crosby and Thompson names on them were looked at closely for quality by board members here. That was before Kahr made them remove the trademark names. The consensus of opinion at the time was they were very well reverse engineered off of an original Crosby drum. The only issue was there was galling showing up in the rotor housing from the clock spring having no lubrication during multiple uses. An easy way to pump some grease into the rotor without major disassembly was devised. A little lube goes a long way. That is how I remember it.
  4. Not mine, he asked, that's what I found, didn't say it was a good deal! 😂
  5. Here is an old thread on the same subject, picture of a cheese grater I had turned down to correct spec, just didn't have the knurling done.
  6. Lots of info on these, "search" and you will find.
  7. The book is fantastic, has all kinds of inside trivia and notes on each episode as well as a synopsis of each. Some of the notes on guest stars are entertaining, and there were so many, Lee Marvin's hollow leg at the bar each night etc.
  8. Ha! Couldn't find it on paper in semi auto at 15 yards...have no idea where those slugs went....but on full auto I walked the rounds right into a nice pattern from a shoulder hold and no sights, your experience may vary 🙂
  9. Would also be aluminum receiver instead of steel. By the serial number was originally configured as a pistol and would not have a 16" barrel unless somebody has done a barrel change or it's SBR registered with the addition of a butt stock. The photos don't show the complete gun. The link you posted with a detachable stock is a better choice over the aluminum mismatch.
  10. Great! First four volumes on the center of the bookshelf, looking forward to the next installments.
  11. I am still amazed at the history that continues to show up here. Tracie, will this or has it been included in the new encyclopedia series you are producing?
  12. I will be right over to lend a hand! 🙂
