  1. I picked up a Norinco 320 in 9mm. I"ve added enough U.S. parts to legally put a folder on it and cut the barrel nut so I could put a Bushmaster barrel shroud/barrel nut on it too. I'm pretty sure you can pick up a new Vector SBR with a folder now that the AWB has gone bye bye. I hate to say it but I like the balance of the Uzi better then the 27a1 that I had. Plus, with the stock folded it makes a much more compact firearm. 9mm is also a lot cheaper to shoot. Talk to ya'll later. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
  2. Plus my Uzi is a semi so Class III doesn't apply. I'll just post on Uzitalk and hope for the best, plus I've still got Pre-Ban.com, AR15.com and a couple others. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
  3. QUOTE (Norm @ Oct 15 2004, 07:44 AM) Maybe it is becaue there are already large forums for the Uzi (and AK47 and M16.) Maybe it is that all the gun forums here talk about WW2 guns. Norm http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif I know about Uzitalk.com. I didn't notice the "WWII theme" though, guess that's the reason why. It's just that there are so many knowlegable people that visit this board it'd be nice go have their help with Uzi related questions too. Uzitalk takes forever and a day to get a response. Oh well, talk to ya'll later.
  4. I noticed that just about every other kind of Machine gun and their semi-auto counter part is represented in this forum but no Uzi. I just wondered why? That's all, talk to ya' later. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
  5. Well, two parts left. The rear pistol grip and the M1 rear sight. Time for someone to make me an offer. Let me know what ya'd give for these last two parts. I'm sure someone can use them as spare parts if nothing else. Talk to me people, I'm sure we can deal on these parts. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
  6. E-mail back to you. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
  7. New, lower prices. I need Uzi mags and have to sell off these parts to get them. Come on guys, help a pard out. $20 bucks for a new 30rnd Thompson mag, such a deal, someone has got to want these nice mags for $100 bucks for 5 plus $5 bucks Shipping. That's a heck of a deal. If you've got some like new Uzi mags I'd swap em' for 5, 32 rnd IMI or Mec-Gar Uzi mags. Talk to me people. Let's deal. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
  8. BTT. Come on people, someone has got to want 5, new 30rnd. Seymour Thompson mags. These are unmodified so they'll work in a FA gun.
  9. Sent ya' an e-mail Sgt., thanks. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif
  10. From what I understand once it's registered as a SBR it's always an SBR even if you put the longer barrel back on. I may be wrong but I don't think so. A 3rd option, since you'll have to wait for the AFT to approve the SBR would be to get a used Tompson and send it off to PK to tweek for you, while he had it you could apply for the SBR, pay the tax and pray that they'd not take long to approve you. When you get your paperwork send it off to PK and let him install the short barrel on your gun and then send it back to you. This would kill two birds with one stone because while he's working on the action and getting it into shape your paperwork will be processed then once it thru he can make the gun a SBR at which point it'll be shipped back to you. If I was going to put money into a SBR Thompson this is the way that I'd go because there's a good chance that once you wait and get a Khar SBR you have to send it off for an action job anyway. JMHO. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif
  11. E-mails sent out, thanks. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
  12. PM sent Sgt. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
  13. http://img43.exs.cx/img43/7447/27a1.jpg Not the best pic but the only place where I could get some light on the gun. New recoil springs are on the way, that should fix the problem that I'm having. The bolt isn't coming all the way into battery, must be a small rough spot or a burr. I've polished up everything that I can think of and it only happens when the gun is in the cocked position. Asking $750 if I can get it working. If the springs don't fix it then I'll edit and lower the price a bit and let the buyer play with it. I want an Uzi in 9mm so if you've got one I'd trade straight across for it. Vectors are selling for about $650 so you could always buy one of those and swap and save a bit. Talk to me people, reasonable offers will be considered. Thanks. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif ..................................................................Sold pending trade.................................................................................
  14. I have the following parts for sale. They're for a 27a1 and come from PK and Damon. I'd like to sell all parts at one time but if you just need one or two that's ok also. $5 shipping per package, buy one part or all and shipping is just $5 bucks. Mags are Seymour and are new, just out of the wax. Only two have been used and then very little. Wood is from Damion. M1 rear sight is from PK. Price list: Mags, FA, New, $20 each X 5+ $100 for the set.(sold pending funds.) M1 Forearm for 27a1(3/4") w/sling swivel and screw, $75(sold pending funds.) Rear Pistol Grip(better contour) $30(sold pending funds.) M1 rear sight $20(not pictured)(sold pending funds.) If you've got a 27a1 and want to make it look more like the "Commando" Thompson these are the parts for you. I'll take $225 for everything saving you a total of $35 bucks on these already low prices. Talk to me people. I also need Uzi mags, if you've got any that are like new and want to work a trade on these parts shoot me an e-mail as long as they're not U.S.A. brand.
  15. Got your e-mail and sent ya' one back. Talk to ya' in a bit. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif
