  1. I don't follow TSMG pricing anymore, but 14K for a parts kit has to be the stupidest thing I have seen in quite a long time...
  2. I need to know who has or makes the BEST vertical foregrips for a 1928A1? Thanks guys.
  3. Everything but the Cox book is sold. Make offers, I need to move this.
  4. Im still kicking too, just got into silencers so much in the last 5 years, I havent had much Tommygun time. In fact I sold my transferrable TSMG to a nice guy from Pennsylvania. I have a post sample now from Phily Ord, and I must say his work is very nice. I miss my arguments with Arthur F, as he always hated to lose to me, and he did frequently...
  5. You can have the magazines for $200. How do you want to pay? Email me at johntitsworthjr@sbcglobal.net
  6. PM sent to darrylta Also the Sling is now SPF
  7. Hello folks. Getting rid of some of my Thompson stuff and wanted to give you guys a shot first. I learned most of my Thompson stuff here. I have for sale a couple of patent date mags, a really nice sling and the Cox book and supplement. ASKING PRICE for mags:$100 each ASKING PRICE for sling: $75 ASKING PRICE for book: $750 http://www.silencerresearch.com/thompson_s...e_gun_items.htm Link to lots of pictures http://www.silencerresearch.com/IMG_9016.JPG Colt Mag http://www.silencerresearch.com/IMG_9011.JPG Incorrect Patent Date Mag http://www.silencerresearch.com/IMG_9021.JPG Kerr Sling http://www.silencerresearch.com/IMG_9045.JPG Book and Supplement More pictures at the link provided Thanks!
  8. I am selling my US Model of 1928A1 British Proofed Thompson. If anyone wants pictures I can email them. Asking $25K or best offer. I have lots of stuff that can go to the new owner. Its C&R. If this is not OK to post a gun for sale, delete this. johntitsworth@silencerresearch.com Thanks. http://www.cswnet.com/~luther/thompson16.jpg
  9. I just saw that and thought the same thing. Not a bad price at all.
  10. I am totally not familiar with anything West Hurley. If there is a machine gun that is registered as same and shows the manufacturer as Auto Ordinance West Hurley and Model is 1927A1 with 17" barrel, wouldn't that have been a conversion that was registered? Shouldn't the form 4 show the manufacturer as the person who did the conversion or did they actually ship 17" barreled West Hurley TSMG's out of the factory in 1981 when this gun was built?
  11. Dan, that looks pretty cool. Any idea what sort of baffles they used? TD...Sam is still going strong, however neither of us have done any TSMG shooting in a very long time. Email me and I will take you up on your offer... johntitsworthjr@sbcglobal.net Mike, thanks for posting that article, it was interesting. As for the rest of the guys, thanks for posting. Looks like there is really nothing out there that would clamp onto any existing barrel. I have become such a suppressor person that I seldom shoot any weapon without one. I made one for my 410 shotgun not too long ago...
  12. As most of you know, I have been into silencers now for a while, but have seen no viable option for a TSMG silencer. Anyone make one yet? Thanks John Jr www.silencerresearch.com
  13. Mike! I got quite a kick out of that. I don't spend much time here is my gun time is devoted to silencers, but I miss your good stuff. Hope all of you guys are still blasting away! John Jr www.silencerresearch.com
