  1. I like the look and the Grease Gun is a very quiet action, so it should be a nice set up. There was a post on subguns mentioning the Ceiner cans. Anybody have any pics and or a source for a 2 stage suppressor? Thanks. P.S. Mongo your can sounds great, I just really like the 2 stage suppressor look.
  2. First off excellent post. We Grease Gun owners should be a little more active on here. I am in the minority in that I actually like the black paint, but when there is rust under neath there is no other option than what you had to do.
  3. I saw 2 next to a M3A1 smg on display at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. They were not mounted on the gun.
  4. I asked this question about 3 months back on Subguns. Dan Shea said the book was shipped to the editor to be proof read . No one was able to provide a date they will be released.
  5. ESPN has a mini series on called "The Bronx is Burning". It's about New York in 1977 (mostly the Yankees). In the episode that the police open up Berkowitz's trunk, a 1928 Thompson without the stock is shown. I remember in the news about him having a machine gun, but never saw an actual photo. Additional note- in the police locker room in one of the first episodes is a poster featuring a S&W M76 and Madsen M50 smgs.
  6. Capt Mike, In Frank's Grease Gun book there is a B&W photo of women welding some receivers. It is not that clear, I can only make out that they are being held is a vice like contraption. When I was having my Medea M3A1 welded, I was told that the demilled GL parts that I had, were welded by a machine. I never asked what the name of the machine.
  7. Mongo, It is a TLGuns design made by Mike at: www.brass-cartridge.com see this thread: http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invb...t=ST&f=9&t=6397
  8. I am looking for an M3A1 sear. Does anyone know where to look? Numrich and Sarco are out of stock. Thanks.
  9. Medea Corp M3A1 here. Just need to weld the stock brackets on and have it parked. Shot it once, very smooth.
  10. my guess would be blanks not pushing the bolt as far back as full power loads. Shorter travel + faster rate.
  11. I was at Walmart the other night and picked up The Dirty Dozen's "The Deadly Mission" and The Dirty Dozen's "The Fatal Mission". It was a 2 pack. The acting was nowhere near as good as the original, but the M3 Greasegun footage is pretty good.(a few guys even had the stocks extended). Telly Savalas returns, but as a different character since Maggott was killed in the original.(He carries an M1 Thompson in both episodes).
  12. Nice video. Just a little ping from metal hitting metal.(on the M3A1) http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif I was suprised how much the Sterling MK5 smoked, and the Madsen was cool.Thanks.
  13. I use the cobray M10 .45 mag loader. I didn't want to take my stock off constantly out of fear of wearing it a little and causing a wobbly stock. I had folded and unfolder my S&W M76 so many times that it would collapse during a burst,so I have been very protective of my other weapon's folding/retracting stocks. The mag loader I got was on gunbroker for $4.
