  1. Arch! Where ya been, I thought you were dead! Sorry I don't have any info on the web gear, kinda neat, haven't seen any like it. I'll bet someone here knows what it is. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Kevin
  2. Anyone have any idea on the number of Thompsons the FBI purchased or if they kept any for their museum? Kevin
  3. Paul, Thanks for the info, I'll probably go the same route. I'd like to have a quick mount setup like that. I'll see if I can get it to look as good with the vertical foregrip. Kevin
  4. Paul, not a bad idea, I'll need to think about that. PhilOhio, the current stock I'm using is about 2 inches shorter and has a comb about 2 inches higher than a factory stock. To fit me properly the stock needs to be about 2-3 inches shorter than the one I'm using now. At that length eye relief starts to be a problem, hence the need for a forward mount. Kevin
  5. Norm, At the moment it's doing better than I am. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Kevin
  6. The Thompson is one hecka weapon at any range. Kevin
  7. By the way - I was't hired because I could spell. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ph34r.gif Kevin
  8. I have an a Aimpoint ML3 on 1/2 of a Doug Richardson mount on my WH. I am shorter than the average bear so I'm looking for am Aimpoint mount that would be on the barrel forward of the ejector port so that I can make a new stock with enough eye relief so I don't get a black eye. Something that wraps around the barrel and maybe indexes on the grip mount. I can mod the grip mount (who cares -it's one of those Indian things-and it's a WH). I don't see why the Thompson can't be at the forfront in the 21st century just like it was in the 20th. Kevin
  9. I've got a WH L that works at 21 speed out of the box.. I also have Norm's old L that Merle worked on, and it runs fine at 21 speed. I also have a second try Kahr that now works at 21 speed after I spent about 10 hours on it. Of the three, Merle's is the smoothest- of course. Kevin
  10. MMMMM... tasty! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Kevin
  11. You can use an automotive wax on the inside of the mags. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Kevin
  12. I took the barrel off my WH to change the aluminium grip mount for a steel one. I tighten it up to about two grunts when I put it back on. I've had no problems. Kevin
  13. It's a 39 rounder alright. Maybe they couldn't get it open because it's rusted shut. He lyin' out his A$$ the low life. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/slap.gif Kevin
  14. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif Wow, when I grow up I'd like a place like that. Kevin
  15. Gee, and my wife had to talk me into paying 6k for my WH. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Kevin
