I'm gathering up old parts for guns that I no longer own. I found a few M14 M1A parts. What is the value for an operating rod, complete bolt, and connector assembly? The operating rod and bolt both have the same number etched on them so they were definitely paired in a weapon.

How many Markings on a WWII Bolt
Sandman1957 posted a topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
I have a WWII blued bolt that I got in a parts kits years ago. Never really looked at it much since it was blued and I used the bright ones in my guns. It was just a spare part to me. Has stayed in a box with other parts for at least 10 years. Got it out the other day and noticed it had more markings than I am used to seeing. Is this normal for a WWII bolt? It is marked with a "P" on the left side of the bolt at the bottom. On the rear left hand corner, is it marked with both a "S" and "R". Must have been in a custody dispute I guess... -
Greetings all, I have owned a West Hurley mfgd. 1927A5 pistol with alloy upper receiver for quite some time. The bolt handle has always been loose, wobbly even. I have disassembled it, removed bolt and handle but see no way to make the handle tighter on the bolt. Is something missing? My father carried a M1A1 in WWII and he did not recall any looseness on the side mounted handle. The handle moves so much that it has worn thru the anodizing on the surface and is now showing bare alloy. Any ideas???

I've never had to deal with Kahr arms customer service but this initial run is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm replacing my bolt because I'm having the common problem with the extractor popping out at random during firing exercises. I ordered a new bolt and extractor on their website and there was NOTHING through the process saying anything about backorder or out of stock. I now get an email today saying sorry your items are backordered with no estimated time of arrival. So I call their customer service line for TWO hours getting jerked around until their offices are closed for the weekend. I never even got to talk to a person!!! My questions are: 1. Is Kahr customer service always this hard to get a hold of? 2. If question 1 is true.... does anyone know an easier way to get a person? 3. How can the company that manufactures the part be out of them??? 4. Is there ANYWHERE else to get a replacement bolt for a Kahr Thompson? Thanks, Jon

After having the bolt handle on my WH 1927a1 SA break, I ordered another one from gunpartscorp. After installing it, i started running into some issues with the bolt not charging all the way back to the spring buffer as it normally should. This is causing the bolt to slightly protrude preventing proper insertion of drum mag (I was able to get it in with a bit of force and a few colorful cusswords). Clearly this isn't the correct charging handle and i don't want to cause any damage to either the bolt or the firing pin as a result. So a couple questions for the members here: 1. Am I crazy, or is there a difference between these two styles of charging handles? (Kahr & WH) 2. Any recommendations on where I can order the correct bolt handle? 3. Would it be a reasonable task to possibly machine this thing so that it works correctly? It seems that the slots that hold it in the upper reciever are a bit more "rounded" on the new bolt vs the original. I was thinkin if these were squared off it may fix the issue. Any feedback or insight would be much welcomed.
