darvish
What would cause a bolt to lock forward? It is always on a spent round and the magazine being inserted or removed seems to make no difference. It is a full auto WW2 vintage Sten.
froster
Maybe you have some somewhat bad or unsuitable ammo. You should also check for a dirty or damaged chamber. You didn't say what the shooting conditions were. There could also be a dent or some other problem in the front end of the receiver tube. Look for worn spots on the bolt or tube. Let us know if this helps. Can you describe the gun more?
