EM1/SS
I did get some mags from Russell. I got the last he had for a good price. I think I have enough for now. I'll wait until I get the gun and see what else I need. Thanks Ken

Thanks Ken Unless you have a hydraulicly operated steel thumb, you will need the mag loader from I.M.A. Oh by the way,Don't bother with their foregrip handle. I bought one and it won't fit! Now there is one useful accessory if you can find it, a spring steel attachment that fits on the barrel nut to keep your little finger away from the ejection port. another interesting item is the paratrooper pistol grip that replaces the buttstock. Both a waste of money. A much better investment would be a copy of Peter Laidler's The Sten Machine Carbine from Collector Grade Publications - http://www.collectorgrade.com/bookshelf6.html
EM1/SS
I got Frank's "The British Sten Manual" for Christmas. Do you think it is worth it to have both books?

Very much so, Peter Laidler's book is much larger and goes into a great deal more detail.

Hardly a waste of money if you want the accessories . And I bought Laidler's book years ago. I suppose you would also consider the sling and the 7 magazine carrier a waste if all you wanted was to have something to shoot. Oh by the way, there are THREE different mag loaders and I have them as well.
