casper
hell No Darryl, but .... yeah they are alot cheaper over here than in the USA, the HK still remains very expensive according our norms, hard to get a real one, .... that one took 3500 US printed ones out of my wallet, but it's still fully compatible... james m
I think I remember being told at one time that you can own these in operable condition in Belgium however; it's illegal to own ammunition for them. Is this correct? Jim
casper
this is not correct Jim, we can own ammo, we are just not allowed to shoot FA, must shoot semi, our law is a bit too complicated to share, but it is possible to own machineguns, but not to rock (legal) with them

The A3 collapsible F stock, railed forearm and optic mount are readily apparent; anything else? Edited December 10, 2010 by hrt4me
Zamm
Casper, Really Nice! Hey, I know Antwerpen pretty well. Have a good friend that lives on Cogels Osylei by the Bercham Station. I was always amazed by the fact that you guys could own suppressors! He has one for a .22 Walther pistol. Best, Zamm

If I'm reading this correctly you can own unmodified full auto guns but you have to agree(?) to just fire them in semi-auto? That to me would be like giving a hooked smoker cigarettes and telling them they can put them in their mouth they just can't light them up! casper
well, it's a bit complicated ,but basically ...yes, there are permits that allow unmodified F/A weapons for collectors, But the law says that shooting FA is not allowed, the way our government sees it is that it is a privelege to be able to own these guns. 20 -15 years ago there were still ranges were you could shoot full auto, but those days are over now
