dalbert
What type of bayonets came with the M-97 trench shotgun? Thanks, Brent. Brent, The bayonet that was used on the Model 97 was the M1917 bayonet. There is a picture of my M1917 bayonet on my M97 at the following link: http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/ind...showtopic=11660 David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com

emmagee1917
Nope , that's totally wrong. The M-1905 and the M-1 bayos fit the 1903 , 1903A3 , and M-1 Garands. The M-1917 bayo fits the M1917 rifles and all the US shotguns up until the 60's stuff that used the M-16 bayo. Chris
