I think when the drones stop getting paid for not working, they'll be

a whole new batch of gangsters. You know,,,you gotta eat.

This is all stuff from John Dillinger's main girlfriend, Mary Evelyn " Billie " Frechette, a stunning Indian beauty .

A lot of this stuff is from a private collection of hers out of Chicago & Wisconsin.

The older photos were taken April 6, 1934 at the Dillinger farm in Indiana. John is just out of frame holding #7387 Thompson.

He had just had his picture taken ( or about to) with the Thompson and wood pistol

Interesting photos. It's fortunate for us Thompson enthusiasts that whoever took the photo of John holding the Thompson had a steadier hand with the old Kodak box cameras than the person who took the pictures of the women. The picture of John is nice and sharp while the others are blurry from moving the camera while tripping the shutter. Maybe Billy had a steadier hand than old JD.

Chuck-

The clear one of JD was processed from the original negative, a first generation. He's standing there smiling, but probably saying " Oh Sh*t " since he had just taken a 38 to the left knee anout 5 days earlier in St Paul. Just another job hazard.
