Recently Picked Up This Carbine Based Gun

Recommended Posts

I recently picked up a demilled Columbian san crystobal carbine. This one is very unusual as it has a milled receiver, Takes .30 carbine 30rd magazine, carbine style stock, and handguard retainer is Carbine with bayonet lug. I cannot find any reference photos of this one. All the ones I have seen are of the type with tubular receiver. I would love to find a rear section to complete this for display gun Or I might trade it to someone who wants everything in .30 carbine that was made. These are rare in all models with not that many ever built. the front trigger is semi auto the rear is full auto. post-258111-0-28709500-1338578512_thumb.jpgpost-258111-0-20784500-1338578526_thumb.jpgpost-258111-0-34994500-1338578544_thumb.jpgpost-258111-0-43572700-1338578562_thumb.jpgpost-258111-0-01037000-1338578584_thumb.jpg

Wow. I've never seen anything like it. Very cool. In case you have not seen it, here is a link to a page detailing the history of the original San Cristobal carbine:
