StenMan
Asking the experts... I recently purchased a DEWAT Mk. II Sten. The manufacturer markings & codes have me a bit stumped. The receiver (magwell)is marked...STEN MK IIE&Co The trigger guard is marked...JH [?] LDWThese initials are in a shield (please see attached photo). I believe that "E&Co" is Elkington & Company (Birmingham) however, I cannot find any info on "JHW LD. What are your thoughts? Any and all info is very much appreciated. Many Thanks!
