I don't expect to find out too much as there were so many of these made and most have no manufacturer names. That said, I thought others may like to see it and marvel in the simplicity. There is no lock on this gun. The only spring is mounted on the underside of the barrel. Notice that the ring trigger acts as a sear and if you were to pull hard enough, the spring would fall back toward the nipple thus striking the cap and igniting the powder charge.
