n64atlas
It is a rebuild, not original. It has a M2 op-rod. The reinforced hand guard (4 rivet). Late war rear sight. And a bayonet lug.Looks like a M2 mag catch. can't see if the trigger housing is M2 though. You blocked out the first two numbers of the serial number which would let us determine the year it was built. TSMGguy
Nice piece. Obscuring the first digits of the serial number makes it impossible date the gun or to check the its present features against what was original.

Gio
Your gun is a 3rd block production, Dec1944 thru June 1945 Winchester. All Parts pictured seem to be correct for this production piece. If had more pics could tell more. Looks like a nice period correct gun. I'm not a expert just my opinion. Good luck with it and enjoy. n64atlas
66 would put it a month later than June of 1945. It seems to be correct for that ear of Winchester. Even the M2 slide was in use by then. They still were using the type5 slide in that range as well. Nice carbine. The carbine has been one of my favorite firearms since the 1970's. I have an IBM and an Inland M2
