joseph12297
[]Hi Folks, friend has this P08 he got and is selling, need to know if its just a regular P08, or something special. attachment=4936:9.jpg I know there are volumes written on the markings. As best I can see this is a German Commercial, from 1908-1914 vintage, I think. It has a bunch of markings/stamps on the front strap on the frame. It does not say P08 on it anywhere.Any help to its origin, and value would be appreciated. Looking at other posts, it looks to have the sear safety? Thank youLarry Edited July 26, 2013 by joseph12297
Zenithnadir
Looks to me to be a post 1914 DWM commercial with police markings, a sear safety, and an aftermarket Mec-Gar magazine. Is it 7.65 or 9mm.? If a #2 pencil drops freely down the bore it is a 9mm. More photos would help, does the chamber have a date? MR
joseph12297
I think its 9, I will check. And also I will look for a date in the chamber. I will get back, and thanks so much for the info so far. Larry
