The case really needs to be trimed every time and the cases lubed for resizing. I usually tumble clean ,lube , resize/deprime , trim , deburr , and retumble to remove lube and clean pocket , then store till I have enough to do a big expand / prime , charge and seat run .Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

joseph12297 Posted August 10, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 10, 2013 Took out the M2 today, practice practice, finished up my Korean 1960's surplus ammo, on to US surplus, don't have any idea why I did better. Cant imagine it to be the ammo, must be attitude. This round of ammo is 1960's US surplus...Still a little jumpy, might try a different op rod spring more or less taut???, or op rod or bolt.Jumpy is how I describe how it feels, needs to smooth out a tad more. n64atlas Posted August 10, 2013 Report Share Posted August 10, 2013 unless you have headspace gauges, don't change the bolt. Not all bolts are the same. Considering you were running Korean ammo, you might check for a rusted gas piston and cylinder. Not all Korean ammo is good ammo. In fact I have both in the original boxes in addition to both that have been used. I think I can detect a bit of improvement in muzzle climb with the muzzle break, but maby it's just me? I did notice a difference, not huge, but it helped. Ran about 300 rounds of 1970s US Lake City surplus I had, smooth running, much happier. Thanks Men.
