I plan to attend the show but the shoot may be difficult as I need to travel on Monday.

I mailed my forms and money this morning.

A few weeks ago I picked up the event trophies for the TCA Show and Shoot. They are basicaly the same as last year but slightly nicer. The Thompson is larger and darker. Here's a couple of pics.2014-08-19 09.46.36_1.jpg2014-08-19 09.46.55_1.jpg

For those who were unable to attend last year here's a link so you can see what you missed.

Those were great displays, who's the owner of the drum & stick mag display?

Thanks,

Darryl

I will make a cameo appearance on Sunday, probably around 11am or noon, and stay for a few hours.

If anyone wants Sturm shirts, or Thompson paper books, or anything else I might have available in person, just let me know. I'll be traveling back from Buffalo, NY from another event, and plan to stop in, and possibly participate in the shoot. I won't have my TSMG with me, since I'm coming from NY, but have identified one available for me to shoot...(Since I'm a West Hurley collector, please don't let me shoot any "original" Thompsons, because we have all learned through sage wisdom posted here recently that West Hurley collectors don't really exist... :D )

Does anyone have a Gordon Herigstad Thompson serial number book 5th edition that will be at the event?

I need to do a bit of research and guess what I sold my 5th edition anticipating I would have had Gordon's 6th edition by now.

Want to flip through and pull out the cities specific to a group of serial numbers in Oklahoma.

My list is long but I anticipate I can do this at the show reasonably quick.

Anyone?

Mine is a 4th edition. Just let me know if you want me to bring it on Sunday...

Thanks David, much appreciated

Colt Chopper has what I believe is a 5th edition that I can borrow to do my research.

Looks like a great event. I have a question on one of the pics. The one showing the british transit chests..they look to be different sizes. Did they actually make different variations of those? Dan
