canuckienns
I do gunsmithing and a fellow brought me a couple old shotguns to work on. They were in the canvas case. I traded him my work for this case. See the photos. What do you think? Thanks David
Junkyardslug
Nice case! I've never seen one in the real world before. This was for the M1922 BAR (a variation built for cavalry troops, only 500 were converted from M1918s). The rifle would have been in this case when being transported on the pack mule. I don't have any numbers on how many cases were made but I know of several of the 'packs' that strapped to the back of the mule that are floating around. canuckienns
Thank you. A great bit of information. Brings back old memories when I was back in another country and we had tonnes of FND's and BAR's with original parts. I will probably attempt to see this case.
