Thompson Nightmare

Recommended Posts

You guys are getting into my subconscious. Last night I dreamed I was back in my old army days in Germany. I communicated to my parents that I was coming back home soon and I needed to pack up all my stuff first. I suddenly realized my Thompson couldn't come home with me. Strange how dreams withhold valuable information like that, until the last minute. The dream was so realistic that my Thompson anxiety lingered for awhile, even after awaking. Gosh! Hope me writing this isn't the real dream and soon I'll awaken in my barracks in Germany. I've been pinching myself all morning. Just had to share. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif

That's funny, I had a gun dream last night, too. In it I was visiting my sister's soon to be inlaws at their beach home in SC, and they were having a garage sale. On a gunrack sitting outside with various pieces of furniture and junk was an MP44.

Of couse I have never met these people and know nothing about them or where they live. My submachinegunconscience just made it all up.

Yea, I thought I had it right the first time. I blame Jay for making me contrary to science.

Yep, sub-machinegun-conscience. That's exactly what I meant. You can ask my wife. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

PhilOhio: With the greatest of defference to your thoughts on this matter (including your conscious, unconscious and subconscious thoughts) the term MUST include the word "sub" at least two times. So, in order to compromise how about "submachinegununconscioussubconscious"? I am confident there is a German word that is long enough to substitute. At least I instinctively think there is.

Hawknest, you got me. Should have grabbed the pocket Webster. It was my sub-machinegun-conscious. All of this because I had a dream...oh well, I stand erected. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

I have one question Sgt,

After this nightmare, did you notice when you woke if you were sporting morning furniture? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Zamm--

For fear of scaring off everyone, my morning was so substantial that my 28 fell out of the bed. I meant to say 28 "A-One"

Sgt,

LOL http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif !!!

Okay, When I first got my Westy ( before I was married), I used to sleep with it. Strange but true, you know, wake up in the middle of the night to ward off ner-do-wells...

When I got it back from PK just recently, I had it in the bedroom to admire... My wife said don't even think that thing is getting any closer to the bed! .

Enough, It's back in the basement all secured..., but I dream off it nightly!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, Phil,

Sweet relief! One though of Ms. Reno and my foregrip has actually turned into a buttstock! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

And with that, I promise no more silly double-entonre ( or how ever the hell you spell it in French!)

Cheerio Sports!
