huggytree
I grabbed this today. Got a fair pricehttp://www.sturmgewehr.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14203-wts-pending-beretta-springfield-bm-59-fully-transferable/Question. do you see the removable compensator? I think I do, but its hard to tell for me. I was hoping this gun is correct as made by Springfield and not a normal model with the folder added. Either way im good. just curiousBest place to buy mags? (what a country has NOS for $39.99)Best parts kit? https://whatacountry.com/italian-bm59-7-62mm-nato-parts-kit.aspx (are the FA parts in this kit?), Numrich has the same kit, but w/ a mag for $384...want to make sure I get a full kit w/ FA parts and Beretta made, not a BM59e or foreign madeSpare barrel?I believe I see wear on the bm59s bolt so I dont believe its nib like John n advertised. Does anyone see anything pos or neg on this gun? Any info or advice to pass alongThanks to Deerslayer for posting a video on a bm59 and making me want one!!! Thanks Dan!!! You cost me $$ Edited July 23, 2019 by huggytree
bm59collector
Has removable tri comp, just push in and turn. FA parts are in the lower left side of the pic from whatacountry, what I do see, it does not have the correct winter trigger & trigger for a pistol grip stock. You can purchase the correct one on GB and swap parts. I can’t advise on the mags as we’re not a ‘free state’ in CT. Might want to pick up a bayonet, fairly inexpensive and available. bm59collector
Yes, what you posted is the correct winter trigger for the pistol grip along with the trigger, just slightly longer than the full stocked model.
huggytree
the 2 pics above are of my gun...so its correct as is? thanks for your input bm59collector...its appreciated
bm59collector
Correct as is, now you need to find out about the barrel, I believe when you remove the tri-comp you should have 5 rings on the barrel, you will understand when you remove it. If you purchase any magazines, make sure they have the aluminum follower. The only other thing I can think of with FA is the ‘knitting needle’ inside the op rod spring. huggytree
https://whatacountry.com/bm59.aspx Planning on grabbing 10 of these mags Ill remove the muzzle brake when it comes in Finding the short Para barrel impossible ? Dissembles similar to a m1 garand I assume ? Edited July 24, 2019 by huggytree
The Wizard
The rifle shown here http://www.sturmgewehr.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14203-wts-pending-beretta-springfield-bm-59-fully-transferable/ has the correct winter trigger. You can tell the trigger and winter trigger by the TA mark on them.
huggytree
should be in my hands next week. I know the winter trigger is correct, but dont know enough about the normal trigger being correct..ill look for the TA mark
