APEXgunparts
I was looking thru a box of odd Thompson wood butts, all having various issues and spotted a what I believed to be a Colt butt stock.I took the butt plate off and took a picture of the serial number.I am not sure if this came in with parts from Omega Weapons or Ohio Ordnance. The wood had big drips of white paint on it, like it stood in a closet, finish was mostly gone and the whole thing was filthy. It has not had an easy life!Looking in Tracie Hill's book there wasn't any info on this gun, I might guess it has been reduced to parts now.Anyway, I thought I would share this info and image.Richard

RichardRichard, Look for a Remngton "R" in the area marked in the attached photo. The buttstocks were not matched to the serial numbers of the guns. If you are interested in selling it, I would like to make an offer. PM sent. Edited February 19, 2020 by gijive
APEXgunparts
The butt plate is Remington ® marked. That is interesting that the time was taken to mark the stocks, but they were not paired with the gun of the same serial number.I appreciate the interest, but I am keeping this wood for my gun.Richard
